this hotel I think is mainly used by schools. A few things;
The hotel has a certificate at reception announcing that it hosted the 1995 american ski team or something. I doubt they have changed any furnishings since.
Our school had to eat dinner in a small, bright orange painted, windowless room.
In our room the thermostat didn't work during the night so we all froze.
The beds are a bit on the small side for two people but the room was an ok size.
On one of the days we were there the cleaner left the balcony door open, left her mobile in our room and didn't take the dirty towels left in the bath.
One day there was NO hot water.
The rooms on on side have a balcony and a stunning view of the mountains however the rooms on the other side have no balconies and views only of the car park.
The 'shop' on the floorplan was no where to be found and the 'library' was more of a room with a tv, sofa and a 'who's who-1995'.
Breakfast consisted of waffles and doughnuts which was ok by me but maybe not to everyones taste.
However, the tv had loads of channels + a dvd player.
The bathroom was
A shuttle picked us up every morning to take us to base lodge. the snow was quite good whilst we were there although some runs were closed.
