Upon arrival, the woman behind the counter bent over to retreive some info for us. Her pants were pulled down exsposing the vast majority of her [--]- I have never before seen such a thing.

We went to our $500/night room intended for 4 people (there were only 3 of us), and could not stop laughing about the accomodations. There was only 1 bed, which was attached to the wall, with what appear to be spotlights above it - security camera perhaps? We had to get 2 cots pulled in - security guards did so and warned us thoroughly agaist damaging the room. Without informing us, the hotel added a substantial charge for these cots. The TV is about 16" and gets 1 channel - advertisements for the hotel. The entire room is hideous and the breakfast is sub-par at best. The skis rented at the hotel are incredibly overpriced and low quality. Every member of the staff is very rude. We checked out other hotels in the area, and the difference was like night and day. These other hotels had rooms for less than half the price that were incomparably superior, with polite staff.

“Nice room but walls were very thin!!”

We stayed at the hotel MLK weekend and enjoyed our stay except for the very thin walls. We were next to some very loud drunk individuals and were woken up at 2:00 AM. Management resolved the issue after a phone call.

Rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly. There was no problems with check-in or check-out procedures.

The free breakfast buffet was above average.

I would stay again if I have the chance.

We stayed for a week at this resort. It was beautiful! We had perfect weather every day. There was always something to do. We travelled with 6 children... and had 2 rooms joining. The pool was great! Nice gym, spa.... we didn't try the restaurant. We did cook a lot in our room. Kitchen is very small, but we managed. Bathrooms were very clean. They came in everyday and cleaned. Service was very friendly and helpful.

I can't wait to go back!

“Greattttt”

I see from reading other reviews that some people are never happy. The location was great the staff including the childrens entertainers was fantastic. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a pull down bed and sofa bed. we made these up each night and this was not a problem. There was a mini shop (which is bigger than a mini bar) along the corridor which sold all that was required. The restraunts were close by and a shuttle bus drops you off in the town centre and picks you up. We were there to ski and at night crash out in the rooms we all slept like logs including the kids. we had the buffet breakfast a few times which was excellent. We had a snow storm over night which made the ski ing fab. We enjoyed it so much that we have rebooked for March this year. I cant wait to hit the slopes again.

Stunning views and scenery, beautiful swimming pool and a great town and then there is the Grand. Rooms are fine, food and bar are good but the front reception desk is something else.

Once i worked out how to avoid the front desk the stay got better and better. The level of customer service on arrival was atrocious and uncaring, everything was someone else's problem. So if you were misinformed you were told to wait until the person who had previously told you was back on shift. I was also told by the supervisor that they disagreed with management policy, very unreassuring.

At time of booking i was told breakfast was included it was not. By day two I could not even be bothered to mention this again. As soon as i avoided reception and concentrated on relaxing and enjoying the holiday it all got so much better.

I was part of a large wedding party, front desk forgot to book a room for the bride and groom, got everyone else's room wrong and again just did not care.

Beware of phone room rates as well.

The flip side of this as stated at the top is that it is an incredible venue/location and you can easily while away a few very enjoyable days here.
