“It's like going to Cheers but in the Mountains of Vermont!”

Owners Billy & Heather make this place feel like you just got home... Heather is always ready with a drink for you by the time you sit down. While deciding wether to choose from whatever tasty creation Billy is smoking in the smoker or a favor from the menu board! This place is great after a day on the slopes & a must go when up at Smuggs'

“Best ribs I've had in quite awhile!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We weren't thrilled with the dining on site at Smugglers so we checked out this place, 3 of us. Great pub and kid friendly at the same time. Service was top notch. All of our meals were delicious. The ribs were thick and juicy and the bbq sauce was perfect. The drinks were fabulous. If I lived nearby, this would be a weekly stop for me!

“Tasty beer and burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We drank samplers of a variety of beer and they were all good. The burgers were tasty and moist and cooked just as ordered. The best part was that the prices were so good. $5 for a pint and $8 for a flight is unheard in most pubs. Definitely a good vibe in the place too.

“Smugglers Notch area Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

This is our second time going to Brewster River. They have a creative modern pub menu and everything we had was very good. In addition to their regular menu they have a specials menu. Our party got a variety of appetizers such as their southwestern spring rolls, their grilled shrimp, nachos, and duck wings. We had burgers and sandwiches for entrees and they were all delicious. The owner must be from Pittsburgh, PA because he has a delicious sandwich called Ode to Pittsburgh which has pastrami, coleslaw and french fries on thick cut italian sliced bread. Very good!
Our party of 18 had a good number of children and their childrens menu had a wide variety of items. One of the kids in our party has severe nut allergies and they went to great lengths to ensure that his food was safe. The server Emily was very helpful and attentive.
If youve stayed at Smuggs before you learn that you have to leave the property for good food. The Smuggs shuttle will bring you to Brewsters and pick you up when you call for a ride home so no need for a designated driver etc. They have pool tables and video games which will keep the kids entertained while you dine. Home run!
