“Relaxed atmosphere, brilliant food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

The antique feel of the glass storefront gives a quaint, relaxed small town feel to this delicious eatery. The menu is diverse - and even their simple burger is fabulous, so you can't go wrong. Stir in good prices and great service and it's a place that earns repeat business.

“Put On Your List For Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Four of us ventured into town from Smugglers Notch Resort for dinner. We arrived early (5:00) and the place was empty. Ordered the Scallops (great dish w lots of Scallops), the Shepard's Pie (not done in the traditional way but tasty), and a Portobello Mushroom concoction that my wife could not finish and did not want to take home. Can't remember the fourth item but as with the others there was enough to take home for another meal.

A big suprise was the dinner bread, so good we asked for more. Went back the next day to buy some to have at home.

“Great vibe, good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Stopped in here passing through town on a Sunday and got to enjoy a great brunch. Two young singers were performing and added a nice ambiance. The menu is eclectic but very heathy. My wife had a standard soup and sandwich combo, which was excellent, while I opted to try the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was remarkably moist and flaky, but if you're a fan of Southern-style gravy, you may be disappointed with the sour-cream based gravy served. Coffee was good, but not exceptional, and our server was a little overworked, but the great old-Vermont vibe in the place and super-high ceilings overcame any deficiencies.

“Good vege wraps”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

This is a quaint old general store converted into a restaurant - nothing fancy; but very good food. The roasted vege wraps were some of the best that I have had anywhere.
We were there at lunch time and it was very crowded so the word it out. It was worth the wait.
