“Friday Buffet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Have not eaten here for anything but the Friday buffet. Alice's Table is located in a hotel a couple hundred yards from the Jay Peak Water Park and the Jay Peak Tram. After spending a delightful day at the Water Park, we wanted to take the tram up and down the mountain at sunset. We walked into the bar at Alice's Table for a drink while we were waiting (trams ran about every half hour). The bartender told us that while the tram was $10 each, if we got the Friday night buffet ($21.70 with tax), the tram was included. That made dinner only $11.70. I saw quite a bit of complaining on this site about the food, but really, for only $11.70 it was definitely worthwhile. The food was edible and plentiful, the hostess was charming, as was our server and busman. If you have kids, there is plenty of kid-friendly food: hot dogs, mac & cheese, and s'mores for dessert.

“Disappointed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Went to Alice's table for dinner Saturday night. We were all very disappointed. The menu lacked, there was not to many choices. Prices were high for what you got. Dinner did not come with a salad or even a choice of a vegetable. There were no specials. If you liked mixed drinks beware, they go for $10.00 a drink. Everyone left hungry. Will not ever go here again on a Saturday night again. May try the Friday night or Sunday morning brunch just to give this restaurant another chance but not any time soon.

“Nice setting, poor restaurant and customer service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012 via mobile

Food is mediocre at best. Omelet station at brunch was the only acceptable part of our meal. After being seated, our waiter, Sean, never came to check on us or refresh our coffee...the one thing that needs attending to at breakfast! There was no BACON, the roast beef had seen better days, the fish was cut into very small pieces and floating in liquid. The bread tray only had English muffins, by 10:00am, the bread was all gone and there were no bagels. Why were the desserts cut into tiny, small wedges? The chocolate chip cookies were cut into small wedges as were the tartlets. A cookie should look like a cookie. If it is too large make them smaller but let them be a cookie! The same with the tarts. Is the kitchen trying to save money or put the patrons a diet? No sweeteners or salt and pepper on our table. The waiters are not well trained and seem very indifferent to customer service. If you want a pleasant place to sit and eat breakfast go but if you want good food first and a pleasant place to to eat second...think twice before going here.
