“Wonderful romantic weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2015

My wife and I came to Manchester, VT for a romantic weekend getaway. The place we originally booked (The Equinox) was absolutely terrible; we checked out in a hurry and were looking for a B&B nearby. Lucky for us, we stumbled onto Marble West Inn, and ended up having a great weekend with a story to tell!

Connie is the perfect host. The breakfast was delicious; she was very accommodating; and she knew the area well. We had a room on the lower level that had a seating area with a fireplace of its own. The common rooms are very nice, well-appointed and clean. Connie gave us good advice on where to dine in the evening and what to do during the day. She even gave us some vegetables from her garden before we left!

Overall, Marble West Inn is a great little B&B a short drive from the main street, with a host who is sure to make your stay wonderful.

Just 5-10 minutes drive from Manchester, VT lies the Marble West Inn. We stayed there for three nights and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very warm welcome by innkeeper Connie made us feel at home from day 1. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, and fireplaces makes this Inn a very pleasant place to stay. The place has been renovated in 2014. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to VT.

Room Tip: We stayed in Brook, which was one of the larger rooms with a lot of windows.

We recently celebrated a long New Year Eve in Dorset and we had such a wonderful stay at the Inn. Connie, the innkeeper, is such a warm and kind host. The Inn is beatifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable, the various sittingrooms are large and the fireplaces add to the cozy feel to this special place. Breakfast was different everyday ~ not to mention ~ deliciouos! At the end of the day, we enjoyed a hearty spread of cheese/crackers with our cocktails while watching football in front of the fire. We look forward to returning soon! Thanks Connie and Danielle!

We were lucky enough to spend New Years at the wonderful Marble West Inn and what a treat it was. The welcome that Inn Keeper Connie gave to us was amazing. She even ran out to our car in the snow in her slippers to help us in with our bags. I had no idea what to expect but let me say it shows even better than any of the photos! All decked out for Christmas with fires roaring, snacks out and self help bar open. It is so not a typical quaint old bed and breakfast. The decor is stunning and comfortable all accented with striking and edgy photographs strategically placed throughout. The common rooms were so inviting that my husband spent the entire day camped out in one, with his laptop open, football game on big tv , fire roaring, and "wonderful and talented in the kitchen" Connie putting out quite the inviting spread for any guests who would stop by. It was a big football day so she of course included chips and guacamole and salsa in the mix. A heavenly way to entertain a non skier or shopper!! The kitchen is so well equipped and always open...even if a guest might want to cook something for themselves. The bedrooms were very well appointed and super lux bedding and towels. I even stripped the bed enough to photo the labels on mattress and mattress pad because it was so very comfortable. The layout of the rooms is such that it maximizes privacy. There were several other families there while we were too, but we heard not a peep from their voices or their footsteps. That is my kind of quiet. The breakfasts were served to meet our schedule and wow were they wonderful...and bottomless. I can't imagine how Connie does it all...but she does it with a giant smile too. It really felt like Relais and Chateaux treatment for a fraction of the cost! I look forward to many future trips to Marble West Inn. Great great place to go with a group too.

Room Tip: The photos on the website make the rooms appear smaller than they actually are. The king beds came...

We had an awesome experience! Connie and Danielle were great hosts, very helpful, the house is amazing, very conveniently located, close to ski resorts, stratton is 30 min away and bromley 20 min. Manchester center is only 5 min and is a great town with restaurants, shopping and even a Shaws! everything you need! I definitely recommend it!

Had a few vacation days to use before the end of the year, and was looking for a place to stay in Vermont. This inn was the perfect find! It's a pretty decent size, with multiple sitting rooms and fireplaces on the first floor -- through the windows of the sitting rooms you can see the beautiful Green Mountains. We stayed in the "Quarry" room, with a very comfortable bed, private bath, and views of the brook that runs through the property. We arrived a day after a snow storm, so everything was covered in snow; which made for beautiful views of the mountains and tree-lined streets.

Connie the inn keeper was very friendly, and she was also really helpful in giving us ideas for places to visit nearby. We happened to be at the inn for their Wine and Cheese Tasting event -- lucky us! It was delicious and made for a fun evening with good company!

We will definitely be back! And we would definitely recommend this inn to others!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a B&B to spend the weekend that we could drive to from Mannhattan. We chose the Marble West Inn based on the pictures and reviews and could not have been more pleased. Connie could not have been a better inn keeper. Extremely nice, attentive and a terrific chef! The inn has been newly renovated with a classic modern style that works perfectly with the beautiful exterior and surroundings.

Both of us ca't wait to return! If you're looking for a lovely weekend in Vermont, you must visit Connie and the Marble West Inn!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Connie keeps a beautiful small garden where she sources vegetables for the breakfast. Delicious!

Regards,
Hadley
