“Great casual restaurant in northern Vermont”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Juniors is a casual restaurant with a wide ranging menu starting with a large selection of appetizers; entrees including chicken, pork chop, and seafood; pizza and pasta; six different burgers and ten other sandwiches/wraps; bbq; soups and salads. You are certain to find something you like. Our party of three had three different sandwiches: the reuben, the meatball sub, and the pulled pork sandwich. All three were great and all three were large enough for a snack the next day. Service was friendly and efficient. There is a bar with a number of signature drinks. We'll be back and I definitely recommend this restaurant for a casual meal.

“Small place, but GREAT food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

The place is small and doesn't have a wait staff, but normally the owners bring it to the table. But what they lack in space and wait staff, they certainly make up with the food!!! Everything on the menu is great ... I don't think there's anything on there I haven't tried once, wouldn't try again, and certainly have some favorites I've had over and over. Their pizzas are the best in town, hands down, perfect crust, tons of toppings, so much larger than the other pizza places in town; once you see the size of that pie, and absolutely no skimping on the toppings, you know you got more than your monies worth. But the thing I love the most is reading the big white board on the wall and seeing what the guys (Rich, Sam & John) have decided to cook off-menu that day. I stop in regularly just to try something new. Highly recommend this place if you haven't been there. Heard they may be relocating to a larger place soon, but I don't mind the space or atmosphere as it is. I guess it would be nice to have more room and a wait staff, but I'm more interested in the great good they put out!!!

“Good food, nothing fancy.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

The pulled pork dinner or the sandwich version is worth a drive, but know this a place about the food and not the decor. Junior brings the taste back classic American dive food.

“Excellent eats!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2012

We stopped into Junior's while running errands in Newport on a Friday afternoon, between the lunch and dinner hours. The large pizza with sausage and green peppers was loaded with toppings and the crust - which, for my money, is what pizza is all about - was perfect: puffy and foldable at the edge, crisp-tender toward the center yet still able to support the goodies. The pulled pork sandwich was spectacular. The sauce was tangy, not sweet, while the bun added great mouth-feel without too much bulk.

We live a good half hour away, but we will be back!!
