“Find somewhere else to eat”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

My husband and I decided to try The Jack & Grill for the first time today. We won't be going back. The food was ok, fries were good, our waitress was friendly, but one of the wait staff was really disgusting. He was a young man who looked like he'd just rolled out of bed in last nights dirty clothes with no time to wash himself or comb his hair. In addition to his appearance, he had his checks in black folders stuffed down the back of his pants. I cannot believe they let him wait tables. If he'd been our waiter we would have left right away.

This really made me question the people running the establishment. If an employee is this dirty and still allowed to work, I wonder what the kitchens are like.

“Local dive - great bartender”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

If you find this helpful Please say so by clicking yes where it asks

Service- service was great, bartender was very engaging and friendly, certainly the best part.

Location - off the beaten path. Near the Marriott hotel so thats why I went there.

Ambiance - ill say "not pretty" to sum up the look about it. Its not gross or dark, just odd, not well put together and little attention to the decor. Locals like the place.

Food - i didnt order any but the people around me seemed fine with it. Looked greasy.

Drinks - drinks were alright, cheap enough.

Overall - id watch a game here anytime. As for food - not so sure Id come here to eat.

“Decent Bar/Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Food was average, typical casual restaurant/bar fare. Prices are on par with the food and service. They have trivia on Tuesday nights that is usually very popular and crowded. This is not a place to come and get a steak. Get bar food, sandwiches, burgers, etc...

“ok for bar food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Had a Deal Chicken deal so we tried Jack and Grill again. Friday night at 6:30 pm and the place was packed. We asked for dry martini's and got real dirty martini's instead. Way too salty and we asked for and got new ones without a problem. They were good. I had the fried clams at $12.99; they were pretty decent. My wife had the roast turkey dinner at $12.99. It was a bit of a surprise. One section of the plate had the flattened mash potatoes covered by brown gravy. Another section of the plate had a few slices of turkey covered by the gravy. There was also a small cup of cranberry sauce. It tasted a lot better than it looked! No veggies, no pre meal bread but all in all, a decent meal. When you go to Jack and Grill, have the expectation that you are going to a bar to get food rather than going to a restaurant.
