“Awesome weekend stay”

Up in Burlington for the mardi gras parade and all that. Good time. The room was really clean and very up to date. Great pool - great gym. Had a couple good draft beers at the bar which has a warm fire...all in all it made for a good home base for the weekend with plenty of things to do eat and drink nearby.

Stayed at this relatively new hotel with great expectations and was very, very disappointed.

Although I was pleased that the hotel gave me an upgrade to a lake front room, I note for others that the majority of the rooms are not lake front. In fact, many (to the South) overlook parking garages and the like. At best, 1/4 of the rooms are lake front. See photo of the beautiful lakefront view from those that. Worth paying for if you will have any daytime time in your room.

We also had to wait quite a bit for check in. The hotel clerk was somewhere out back out of earshot. Not a nice way to start off a stay.

For me, the big turn off was the AC system. Whenever it cycled on, it made a loud noise. A real loud and objectionable noise. So loud that it kept waking me from a sound sleep. For me, the bad part of it was that I would not have even needed to have the AC on if the windows opened. It was that time of year when it was too warm for heat, but, with an open window all would have been perfect. Since I had no choice, I had to live with the AC system. It simply is unacceptable in its noise. I have never encountered a system so objectionably loud.

We ate breakfast at the hotel in the morning and it was a huge, overpriced, disappointment. The eggs in our egg sandwiches were way undercooked and offset only by the way the sausage was overcooked. Such a disappointment given that the ingredients were top notch -- Cabot cheese and and local sausage.

This hotel won't be anywhere near the top of my list for my next visit to the Burlington area. I do note, however, that the lake front area is the place to stay. Much nicer and more convenient than either the Route 7 corridor or Williston Road. The lake front view is also wonderful but , again, limited rooms have this.

Room Tip: Waterfront is ideal. if you can't do or afford these, look to the north. They overlook Cherry...

I understand how frustrating it can be when the AC unit is not working properly, I will have our maintenance staff follow up right away. Also, I was sorry to read that your breakfast sandwich and sausage were not cooked to your satisfaction. That combination of Vermont cheddar and local sausage is so delicious, I will be sure to share your concerns with the chef. Thank you for your feedback.

Bartender was absolutely horrible! Had dinner in the lounge and CLEARLY was interrupting the bartenders dinner as he came to the table and said " do u need dinner menus?" All while chopping on his dinner. Gave the other customers flack too about remembering their drinks. Slouched around on the couches in the lobby, walked around talking on his cell, and even served patrons while on his cell. Horrible service, if any at all, and if this were my first impression i would never return at all! Good thing we like this hotel!

We went to Burlington for a quick overnight. The hotel is right on the water with nice views. The walk to Church St is very short. The people are friendly and helpful. The hotel room was large, immaculate , and beautifully decorated. If we were to come back to Burlington, we would stay here again.

Starting with confusing and incorrect directions to unpleasant surprise in the room.
There are certainly better places in Burlington than this one.
Great location, but it hardly compensates the other inconveniences.

great hotel...clean, friendly, great bar area, very relaxing...only downside is they charge additional for parking. Had breakfast in the hotel (off of the menu) and many of their options are from local farms/bakeries ...which is nice..and really delicious. quiet room, comfy bed.

A very nice hotel right with a the perfect location and great views of Lake Champlain!
The room was very nice, on the 7th floor, very quiet.
There was some construction going on in the parking lot, but it was no problem. Within walking distance to all the fun spots in Burlington.
Will stay there often, since our son will be attending college in Burlington.

Room Tip: The lobby is very lively at night, so choose a high-floor room if noise bothers you.
