“excellent hotel with delicious food...lots of local options”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

great hotel...clean, friendly, great bar area, very relaxing...only downside is they charge additional for parking. Had breakfast in the hotel (off of the menu) and many of their options are from local farms/bakeries ...which is nice..and really delicious. quiet room, comfy bed.

A very nice hotel right with a the perfect location and great views of Lake Champlain!
The room was very nice, on the 7th floor, very quiet.
There was some construction going on in the parking lot, but it was no problem. Within walking distance to all the fun spots in Burlington.
Will stay there often, since our son will be attending college in Burlington.

Room Tip: The lobby is very lively at night, so choose a high-floor room if noise bothers you.

Pros: Quiet. Beautiful view - 8th floor. Room was clean and staff was friendly. I had breakfast in the restaurant which was also good (did not try the buffet).

Cons: I didn't like the parking situation... it's an extra $8 to park in a garage/day which is also shared with the public. I also did not like that the entry way into the hotel from the parking garage was never locked. At first I assumed the door did not lock because it was during the day, but when I arrived late one night, the door still remained unlocked...I felt it was a bit unsafe because anyone can enter the hotel from the garage and walk around without any form of security in between.

Other than the parking and unlocked back (garage) door bit... it was a good stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: select high level rooms...view is nice and it's safer if there are unlocked doors in the buildin...

This is the perfect place to enjoy Burlington. Lake view rooms offer spectacular views and all essential comfort. The fitness center is pretty good for a standard workout and the pool area is okay for a morning swim. I highly recommend the breakfast in the hotel restaurant due to the tasty food, relaxing view and friendly service . Parking is convenient due to the attached parking garage or available valet service. Pedestrian area, good restaurants and harbor are just a few blocks away. I definitely would stay here again during my next visit.

Room Tip: Lakeview rooms are very nice, but be aware of potential noise in rooms with paper thin connecting do...

First time in Vermont...really nice for a Courtyard and in a fantastic location. I was pleasantly surprised! Even though it was still pretty cold outside, we were able to walk up the street about 5 minutes to the main town area. They have a basic gym on the ground level with a treadmill, weights etc. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Staff wonderful from the moment you walk in the door till you leave. Andrew at the front desk was great. Cookies at the front desk in the evening- not hot but good. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room. i ended up with a room closest to the elevator- was not happy with that- in the end i very rarely heard it only a couple of times in the morning after i was awake. The view of the lake was outstanding. It snowed while i was there, the staff did a good job of making sure the sidewalks were taken care of.Hotel is within walking distance to many things. Would stay here again many times over. Did not use indoor pool but was beautiful. My bathroom did not have a tub. The tv was not straight on from the bed but the view was.

The hotel is well maintained and the staff is helpful. Go for the valet parking for an additional $4 per night as the shared parking garage can be crowded and a dank walk to the car is worth avoiding.

The Church St pedestrian mall is easy walking distance as is everything Burlington has to offer for a good time.
