“Delicious”

We ordered the vegetarian momo and vegetable chow mein. Dee-licious! Went there twice during a four-day stay. Great service, nice staff, nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant and restrooms.

“Great authentic Tibetan food in Burlington”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

Sherpa kitchen is a total surprise! I spent 7 years importing from Nepal and India. The flavors here brought back the best memories of many Tibetan restaurants from many years ago. Sherpa Kitchen is run by some lovely Tibetan folks who make Burlington their home and cook the food their family has always made. It's very tasty, honest, authentic and very good value. Step off the Burlington streets and into an island of peace and Tibetan charm. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the food. It Brought me right back to Kathmandu. The Decor is lovely with original artwork and photos.

I have to say that the beef and chicken Momos are the best I have ever had in America! The curries are rich and flavorful in the correct style. Smoother than most Indian curries with lots of cream and paneer. Be sure to try the cheese momo in caramel sauce for desert, very rich and delicious. The Masala tea is delicious too.The lunch specials are the bargain of the town, just wonderful. Dinners are lovely with generous portions. Service is excellent and the staff is sweet and attentive. This is a treasure of a restaurant.
Enjoy!

“Excellent Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

We went for brunch and found a one-price (about $11) hot buffet. Everything except a chicken entree was vegetarian, and everything was delicious. We had crispy fried onion nests, creamy tofu curry, several vegetable dishes, dumpling-like rolls, and very tasty chai tea. The buffet was served in attractive brass or copper warmers. We loved everything and will definitely go again. Nice atmosphere - busy but quiet and relaxing.

“Great Dinner: Wish I could have eaten more!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

I met a buddy here for dinner and we were welcomed in from the harsh cold of Burlington with an abundance of aroma from the kitchen. Their menu is straight forward and waitstaff very pleasant.

The food was well seasoned, meat was tender and rice was cooked.

This will be one of my regular spots to visit anytime I come through Burlington, that's for sure!

“Great food and the best lunch deal in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

Sherpa Kitchen is one of my favorite Burlington lunch spots - their prix fixe lunch menu is great. Dinner offers a wider selection of options, all of which that I've tried are delicious. The service is admittedly not the fastest in town but all the people who work there are really nice.
