I brought a date here last weekend. It wasn't a planned meal (no reservation) and we happened to stop by during the Saturday evening rush, but the staff found us seats right away at the bar. This turned out to be a great thing! We ended up splitting three successive dishes to create a tasting menu of sorts (fried calamari, squash salad, and steak frites). Each was top-notch. But, even with the great food, the cocktails were what really stood out. After noting what we were each looking for the bartender recommended that we try a Gin Fizz and an A+ respectively. Spot on. Both were expertly crafted drinks: great flavor, just the right amount of kick. If these were any indication of the rest of the cocktail menu, this could quickly become a favorite.
Sitting at the bar was an unexpected but great twist. We'll be back.
