“Wonderful treat for Graduation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

The food was amazing and the perfect way to start my graduation morning. We were also blown away by the wonderful landscaping and the beautiful restoration of the house. The innkeeper was very welcoming and kind. I was on the sofa bed which was a little uncomfortable, but the host was very interested in my suggestion on how to make it more comfortable.

We are in our late 60's and wanted a getaway to Southern Vermont. We chose the 1868 Crosby House for location and a smartly designed website. Our stay was made perfect by warm, friendly staff, a skillfully prepared gormet breakfast, and a room that provides the comfort and quiet you would expect. All this for a reasonable price and right off the highway. Well done!

Room Tip: Suite upstairs has private entrance.

We chose this delightful house to stay at because of the ratings here and we were not disappointed. We have been treated like family and housed excellently. The gardens out the back are lovely but we didn't attempt the miles of trails. Breakfast was excellent and tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated, as was the wifi. The bed was very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The whole place is spotlessly clean. An excellent stay.

Room Tip: The upstairs suite at the back is very nice and has a balcony

This is a real find! From the warm hospitality of the hosts, to the beauty of the house, to the lovely, comfortable rooms, to
the incredible homemade breakfast (fruit, French toast, homemade muffins, coffee brought to your room). We are already creating reasons to return!

We loved our stay at this beautiful, relaxing, immaculately clean and homey B&B. We only wish we could have had a larger bedroom with the same roomy bathroom because, as artists, we tend to travel with more gear and enjoy nooks for journaling. (Reviewer Tim B must not travel with much luggage!) Lynn went out of her way to accommodate any of our needs. One night we chose to bring "take out" back to the inn and were most comfortable dining in front of a gas fireplace with use of the house china! We enjoyed chatting with Lynn about the B&B experience. She is a natural as hostess with the mostest! We found Brattleboro interesting and would definitely like to explore more of the activities, such as a winter sleigh ride! We will return, especially for Lynn's delicious muffin egg delights (not egg muffins!) . . . for which she generously shared the recipe!

Room Tip: Choices are very individual. We actually opened the windows (in February), for some fresh air! Eve...

I spent many nights in the B&B in 2013 and 2014.

Rooms are great and Lynn and Richard are the sweetest persons in the world.

And finally, Brattleboro is a very cool place to stay (countryside, foliage, mountains..)
