“Beautiful place to grab some food and enjoy atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

Brattleboro's Farmer's Market is a small, quaint definitely worth the visit! Tasty, locally sourced food from cuisines all over the world. The people are very friendly and happy to share their produce stories from visitors from afar! Special shout out for the Ginger Lemonade, delicious strawberries and home-made gelato! Lovely way to spend a Saturday morning, sitting under the tree by riverside listening to the local musicians! Idyllic!!

“Farmer's Market worth a visit whether indoor or outdoor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

Wonderful range of locally grown vegetables and fruit, ciders, cheeses, breads, ciders, wines, soaps as well as arts and crafts. The market is moved indoors (Main St) during colder months, making the space tight. Out or in, there are wonderful hot ethnic foods for sale. Be sure to set aside plenty of time to roam around as well and chit chat.

“Small but with great variety and quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

Our family of four thought we would stroll through this market on our way to other shopping in downtown Brattleboro, but we wound up spending half the morning here. The market is located indoors under a fantastic gabled glass roof, great for light therapy in winter. There was a wide variety of fresh and very local produce. We talked to almost every vendor and they were happy to talk about their goods.

We did a good amount of sampling with very informed commentary. We bought maple syrup, maple candy, pickles, handmade soap, quince jelly, cider, and several artisanal cheeses, then we had lunch of mushroom and gluten-free quiche, egg rolls and dumplings, and pastries. As is often the case with very high-quality, fresh, local products, it was not cheap, yet the value was still outstanding. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much, enough so that our cynical 13-year-old said, "Why don't we move to Vermont?" I ask myself that more and more these days.

“The place to go in this town on Saturday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Indoor, outdoor, rain or shine, the Farmer's Market is the social hub of this little town and a great place to people watch. ALSO great lunch foods from vendors hailing from Asia and Africa (and locally) offering unique and familiar foods for all palates. ALSO, a dizzying array of locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, baked goods, crafts, and more.
