“Watch out for the satanic wings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Fun small pub with great beers on tap. Yummy chili, but, the satanic wings were beyond hot with an odd delayed burn reminiscent of chemical burns.. beware....Not toxic but I worried...

“Best Bar In Brattleboro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

I've been going to Kip's for years... since it was Mike's actually... and just can't say enough positive things about it. The owners, Kip and Jill, are regularly working the bar and are two of the most known people in town. They're quick to welcome anyone new and if you've never been there before they will have you meeting new friends and feeling right at home in no time. There is not one ounce of pretension in place. The food is down to earth, but perfectly prepared every time. The regular crowd are right out of a book... everyone from college professors and poets to lawyers and business people. Don't be surprised if someone busts out a guitar and does an impromptu performance of a caliber that is worthy of a much bigger stage... and also don't be surprised if that person knows everyone in the bar and they all start singing along. You should join in singing too... no one will care if you don't know all the words, they'll just be happy you're there.

“It's good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2011

I went here to Kiplings and ate lunch, the menu is a bit limited, the food was good but not great. I had chili which was nice and hot, not my favorite but it was made well probably just the style type I was not personally crazy about. A good burger place, and beer pub.

“British neighborhood pub feel, right here in Vermont!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2011

You can get a perfect pint, or select one of the dozens of bottled beers, or just have a mixed drink (they have 3 different kinds of tequila!) all while grabbing a bite to eat and more often than not having a pleasant conversation with the other folks at the bar. A great place for the after work drink. Later in the evenings and on weekends the place gets hopping with the amazing jukebox. My favorite local hangout.

“great friendly place for good drinks and food for all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2010

Great find in Brat. Very friendly staff, good food and great variety of beers. Went to watch the world cup games and enjoyed the large variety of people. Young families with babies on up.
Check out this place, you will love it.
