“Don't waste your time. NOT fine dining, and not a steakhouse.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2012

What a disappointment!!! We had a 7:30 reservation, got there at 7:25 and were seated right away by a very nice hostess. It was all downhill from there. Atmosphere is nonexistant. No table cloths, only 3 tables with diners. We ordered at 7:35. Forty minutes later and we didn't even have our appetiser yet. Finally complained politely to the hostess who said she would take care of it. It's now an hour later and we just got our food. Restaurant is empty except for us, on a Saturday night. That should tell you something. Online menu is totally wrong. We came for the ribeye and filet mignon, and they have neither. Our romantic evening is now shot, we are frustrated, and tried to cancel. The meal only to be told it was already started. Oh well, live and learn. Never again.

“Not as Recommended”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

This place came highly recommended by several locals for having the absolute best steaks and burgers anywhere. I had the steak and my partner had the burger and while they were both okay they were not anything special. In fact the steak was a bit on the tough side. The chicken wing appetizer was good but nothing special. The young waitress was very pleasant but not all that attentive. Before I went back here I would try some other places first.

“Nice setting, so-so food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2011

Sitting outdoors on the patio, next to the creek, is the best part of this place. We enjoyed wine and some rolls and butter, but the food went downhill after that. The onion soup was gluey, and the toasted bread with the marinara sauce was disappointing. The sauce was watery and the bread was boring. Stick with plain rolls and butter!

“Unexpected Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2011

The service was quick and friendly. The Italian food was fantastic. We had the Fried Ravioli and the Eggplant Rollatini appetizers. The Fried Ravioli's were huge and absolutely delicious. The eggplant was sliced thin and cooked to perfection. This was an unexpected treat on our long ride through New England. We also had a Cheeseburgers and Fries, which were excellent as well.

“Surprisingly superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2011

We ate out on the patio which was a bright and pleasant dining experience with great landscaping and a flowing brook. The food was awesome as was the service. We had baked clams, chicken masala, and penne Caroline. The veggies were freshly cooked and the penne dish was chalked full of flavor and lots of wonderful garlic. We happened upon this place by chance but will certainly return.
