The other day while my wife and I were sitting in Your Belly's Deli, hidden away in a corner of Bennington, we both reflected on the fact that after over twenty (20) years its still a great place to enjoy lunch when visiting Bennington.
Still the same owner who has made sure everything is "just so"; still the same friendly servers; and still the great "cheezy tomato" soup on select days, and always "specialty" sandwiches that have been served up for years.
In looking back at prior trip advisor posts for this location, I found my last one in 2005.

For over ten years whenever we're near Bennington at lunchtime, off we go to this neat deli which we discovered years ago when it was rated one of the top deli's in the Northeast by Yankee Magazine.
Set on a sidestreet of Route 7 in an unassumining building, this place sports an aray of specialty creations dreamed up by its owner (My favorite is the "Vermonter" - roast beef, pastrami, cheese, lettuce and a horseradish sauce on your choice of homemade bread), make your own sandwiches, ruebens, soups and salads, all great portions and reasonably priced.
My comments then are just as valid today. It would be rated much higher except its a locals secret.
