My family went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We were all tired after a long day at the Garlic Fest in Bennington. From the minute we walked in we were greated with smiles, friendly chatter and excellent service. A good waitstaff can make or break a restaurant. Elizabeth, our server was friendly but more importantly knowledge about the menu items. Someone in our party had a food allergy and Elizabeth was helpful in offering to substitute items. She actually remembered what allergies we had mentioned which is a rare find. Just when we needed more drinks she appeared with them. They certainly seemed to have found good people to make this a friendly atmosphere. The salad bar is a nice way to start off the meal and had a large variety. The food was good even though the potatoes were cold. The prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were good. All in all it was a wonderful meal and a nice celebration for my mom. We will definately be back.
