“Great food service as always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

We come up to Barton each year and always enjoy the food at Person's Corner. We'll eat there 5 times a week and we always enjoy it. The service is top notch and they always remember us when we show up again on vacation. Give it a try you'll love it as we do!

“Delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

We visited here 2 years ago twice for breakfast, so we went there again this week, and it didn't disappoint. The food was very fresh and delicious and the coffee was great. There was only one server, so she was a little busy with all of the other customers, but I never ran out of coffee - she was there when refills were needed. We were able to pay from the table and didn't have to go to the central cash register, even though that was an option (we had to pay at the register 2 years ago, so this is an improvement).
As I saw in another review, the layout seemed confusing regarding the parking lot, but you would be forgiven if you accidentally went into the exit (I saw this happen and it was no big deal).
One other major hint - they are now open 7 days per week for the summer months, hours 5 AM to 2:30 PM, breakfast and lunch.

“Great local food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013 via mobile

Dave the owner and chef buys local produce to give his cutomers the freshist food. Wonerful friendly service. Grrat food. Opens at 5:30 am. Closes at 2:30 the locals all enjoy Dave's cooking. Drop in you won't be disapointed.

“Good food, confusing layout”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Four hints right off the top.

Don't come on Tuesday. They are open three days a weeks and that one is set aside for rest rather than restauranting. Also don't come for supper. They open at 5 am (There IS a 5 AM???) and close at 2:30 pm.

The restaurant is on Glover Road, but the entrance to the parking lot is on the street that runs alongside the restaurant. The EXIT to the parking lot is on Glover. This can get interesting if someone is exiting (correct) while someone is trying to enter (nope!).

The entrance to the restaurant is on Glover so when you go into to parking lot drive as far through as you can. The only entrance directly from the parking lot is for handicapped customers.

Finally, don't be put off when you enter. It looks like they have one table and a counter. Stay the course. Head for the counter and then take the hallway to the right, which will lead you to two conventional dining rooms.

The food was good, and there was plenty of it. We arrived around lunch time, but they serve breakfast all day (5-2:30). My wife had an omelet and I had one of the "day-specials," a lobster roll. We both cleaned our plate, but we were REALLY hungry. Another time, I'm sure "doggy bags" would have accompanied us home.

The waitstaff was cheerful and efficient.
