“Excellent - great value, and close to services”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

My work required a brief layover due to some medical issues. LaQuinta is one of my favorite chains, with good values everywhere I have been. This property is older, but is in good condition. The rooms are HUGE, and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. I will stay here again, if I need to be in this area. Great location for basic shopping, restaurants, etc. Recommend for basic motel at a good rate.

Room Tip: Smoking rooms are all on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator.

I made the reservations on line just the day before, so I wasn't sure if it would be ready. The clerk was very friendly, the paper work ready except for signing and licence plate number. We checked in just a little early but that wasn't a problem for them. Outside keyed enterance in the back was a plus. Next to the freway but not really a lot of noise. Easy to find, quick check in, lots of eating places and a mall very close. Will stay there again if I'm in the area

Overall the hotel was very good, would stay there again. They did not have a doggy area so you can find animal waste just about any grassy area surrounding the building. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room we got was huge and clean which made it very nice to play with my daughter. The flat screen TV was the norm but didn’t have HD service. The elevator was my worst enemy; it would only give you two seconds before it would try to close the door on you. Not very well received with you are trying move around luggage for a family of three. The laundry facility has set hours so if you get in late and want to wash some cloths you may not have time. Average breakfast, you can see they were trying to provide more selections then your normal LQ waffles.

Sometimes the best stays are when there's nothing to remember. Everything was easy: from check in, to check out, to breakfast and the rooms. Everything was quick and efficient, non problems with the room, and had no troubles at all. The rooms are great, nice and comfortable, would definitely recommend!

Very friendly people clean room and great value. Breakfast was better than most for this low price. Nice Mexican food restaurant next door. Easy access to 215 and 33rd south. I would stay here again and our little dog was free!

We're kind of new to La Quinta and were so very pleased the previous night, our expectations were too high.

This place is kind of old and tired. It should be noted that the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and worked fine. So that takes care of the basics. The WiFi was out of date, the tv offerings were 20th century. The towels had been plush but were tired and coarse. The room (and the rest of the place) is due for an update.

I've stayed at this hotel before; it didn't disappoint me at all this time. The rooms are spacious, quiet, comfortable, and mostly very clean. The only reason I didn't leave a perfect score on that one is that when I took a tub bath I noticed a bit of mold growing around the base of the handicap handrail. (The tub itself was perfectly clean—I prefer a tub bath to a shower, but some inexpensive hotels have tubs that are NOT clean enough to bathe!) Otherwise, everything was very clean and smelled good. I did use the shower one time, and it was only so-so as far as the pressure of the spray, but perfectly adequate with instant and plenteous hot water. The bed was super comfortable, and even the pillows are comfy. I arrived on an early flight, and was too early for check-in, but the desk clerk was VERY friendly and helpful, and called me shortly to let me know that my room was ready. Wifi is free and accessible, and though connection strength measured as only fair, I didn't have any trouble with it. The room includes a full-sized ironing board and good iron. The included continental breakfast was pretty standard, but the staff was totally on top of keeping it fresh, and the area clean. The neighborhood is not the best, but is convenient to all the freeways and most shopping. Location is only about a ten minute drive from the airport, and very direct. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. Good value.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms look onto a parking lot, so if you want privacy with the curtains open, request o...
