“Never Again!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2006

This Hotel was rated 3 1/2 stars when we booked. When we got there we thought it was the wrong hotel. Several of the windows were boarded up, there was yellow caution tape across one of the doors, windows broken, cars parked on the back side that were spray painted and what I assume was bullet holes through the wind shields, a toilet outside with a roll of toilet paper sitting on it, and a poor dog tied to a tree with no food or water, and this is just the out side. When we went in the room it smelled of smoke so bad we closed the door and walked to the Family Dollar store and bought a can of Lysol. When we came back we removed the bed coverings that were full of holes and pet hair to find yellow sheets and more pet hair. The light in the bathroom was burned out and there are stains on ALL the walls. The counter top for the sink was falling off the wall and ash dumped on the floors. The door to our room had a large amount of hole putty on it and the dead bolt did not work with our key. The phones don't call to the other rooms and when we found little black curly hairs in the towels, the front office never answered the phones and when we went to talk with them the door was locked and a box left outside to leave the room keys in. And to top this off the room was very expensive

The rooms smelled of urine and smoke and were full of pet hair . The windows were broken and cracked and the bathroom window was duct taped to the wall and the light in the bathroom was burned out. The counter was falling away from the wall and the sink was filthy. The carpet was not cleaned and there was ash from the cigerett tray spilled on the floor. The bedding had holes and the sheets are stained yellow. There was pet hair on the towels and when we tryed to call for clean ones no one answered the phones. The wall had corroded away from the floor and the holes were repaired with a piece of plexiglas screwed to the wall. When we went to talk with the manager the door was locked and a drop box for keys was left out side. And to top it off the rooms cost $99.00 Not a good visit

This motel is by far the worst place I have ever stayed, it was filthy (even after they supposidly cleaned it) there were little hairs, dog hair, human hair not sure what else, and what looked like male bodily fliuds on the floor in the bathroom area, the walls were dirty and had boogers wiped all over them, the whole place is falling appart, no one that worked there could speak very good english and it was impossible to get ahold of the front desk for more towels (ones without pubic hair on them) or to complain about how discusting the place was. Some of the wimdows are boarded up and on the side of the motel property going towards the back area there are three cars with the windows shot out (not good advertisement). On all of the websites I looked at about this motel they are rated a 3 1/2 star out of 5 (doesn't sound that bad) but when we got there we couldn't believe that this motel is even still in business, the place should be Condemned! And to top it all off they charge $99.00 a night to stay there on the weekends when (after seeing the motel) you would think that they would have to pay you to stay there. If the bonneville motel truely is a 3 1/2 star motel I would hate to see what a 1 star looks like!! I will post the pictures we took soon.

We came to Wendover to enjoy the concert by Olivia Newton John. We looked on the internet for Motel rooms. It said that the Bonneville was 3 1/2 stars. We thought this should be a nice motel, but we were surprised. I have never seen such a disgusting place to stay in my whole life. The rooms were terrible. They were filthy. The carpet had big cigarette burns on it. The bedspread was full of stains. My sheets were a grose yellow. The light switch did not work. We didn't have a remote for our TV. It smelled like urine. I was afraid to take my clothes off at night, so I slept in my clothes. The windows were so dirty that you couldn't see out of them, some of the windows were boarded up. I will never go back there again. Take my advice and don't go there eigher. And to top in all off. It was very expensive.

My friends and family stayed at the Bonneville on the 12th of Aug., 06. The conditions were horriable. In my family's room there was pubic hair in the towels, pet hair in the sheets, who knows what splattered on the walls, the counter top for the sink is falling apart and falling off the wall and the carpet was filthy. In our friends room there is a BIG hole in the wall and it was covered up by 2 different kinds of plastic that was screwed to the wall, the wall and the floor don't meet and the room reeked of urine. Too top this all off when we went to talk to the managment the doors were locked!!! We paid just over $108 for each room.

This motel's sign advertised "new mattresses." The beds WERE okay and the room had been remodeled, but it still had problems. The window wasn't properly fitted into the frame and if you tried to open it, it fell inwards. In the morning the water in the shower was barely warm and had almost no pressure. The price was reasonable, but still not worth it
