We have been multiple times to the VBC.
Their lunch menu is great and has awesome selection of sandwiches and pizzas. Try the Greek Pizza or the Cubano.
The dinner, however was greatly lacking and we don't go unless we are set on ordering a pizza. Otherwise, it is disappointing dinner fare.
The atmosphere is nice and clean. Very polished for something in this small town.
The craft beers from the VBC are weak and not that great. Most taste like watered down basement brews. But having been their first go at it, I am sure they will continue to improve (or I hope they do). They do have plenty of tasty alternatives to their own brews on their menu.
The service is touch and go. It all depends on who you get. A friend and I who routinely lunch here tend to avoid a certain waiter like the plague because it is awkward at how much they share and how pushy they are to try and get you to order what they like. I truly believe a waiter should not say that a certain menu item you like sucks. But I haven't seen this waiter as of late, so maybe they were smart and let them go.
Other than that our service was great every time we have had other staff wait on us for lunch. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table and always taken well care of.
Again, LUNCH is awesome. Skip the dinner.
