“price/value is there!”

You will find a clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly motel right next to the freeway. No extras of any kind:coffee pot, hair dryer, fridge, iron etc. Bed is comfy and room had two lazy boy recliners. Very much appreciated after a long day on the road. TV on the wall can be seen from either spot. Very nice breakfast. I was amazed at how quiet the room was considering its location. Well maintained. If all non-chain motels were like this one, it wouldn't be necessary to pay the high chain prices! It feels "old fashioned" in a way, yet things are new-ish. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very good accommodations. Staff is friendly and courteous. I was traveling solo this time and had reserved (out of habit) for two people. It cost less for one person and the desk clerk let me know and saved me a few dollars. That kind of honesty says something about those who run the place.

The exterior seemed reasonably well kept, and my room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, if basic. No elevator to the second floor. Didn't have lots of heavy luggage, so this was no problem. The price is reasonable and more than fair for what you get. Would stay here again if travel bring me to this area.

The Western Inn is a clean, friendly, quiet place close to the junction of I-15 and I-84 north of Ogden and Brigham City, Utah. We chose to stay at the Western Inn for one night during a cross-country road trip because the rates were much more affordable than those in motels closer to Salt Lake CIty.

The motel motif is, indeed, western with a great selection of cowboy and Texan items. It is kind of kitschy but great fun at the same time. Our room was clean, quiet, and had two large comfortable Barcalounger-type recliners.

The front desk was friendly and efficient. There is a Burger King next door, open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.. If we make that road trip again, we will not hesitate to stay at the Western Inn.

Think about where you are, basicly a truck stop off the highway in a VERY small town.
There isn’t much here, BUT, if you want to go to Golden Spike National Historic Site at Promontory Summit, where the Union and Central Pacific Railroads joined their rails, then this is the place to be.
There’s a ‘name brand’ hotel down the road a piece, but it’s also twice the price. If you just want a place to lay your head down, in a clean and quiet room for a night, stay at the Western Inn.

Room Tip: There is NO elevator, ask for the first floor.

We were just one night. After driving for a least 12 hrs, we were ready to sleep and rest. The room look normal , hut when we get ready to go inside the bed , one bed was totally wet of urine. It looks someone made pee in the bed and it did not changed. That was the most discusting situation in our lives. Please do not book in this place, if you book , please check everything.

Room Tip: Do not choose this motel

The Western Inn is easily found off the highway, close to many fast food establishments. The best thing is the price. The Inn is very affordable, has friendly staff and very clean rooms. Our room is next to the breakfast room. The carpet is well cushioned. Either it has a great pad, or is new so that the pad has not been broken down.

Room Tip: Room 104 is a single King, next to the breakfast room and very nice. It has a shower, only, no tub.

There aren't many choices for lodging in Tremonton, but Western Inn is a great one. The quality of our stay exceeded the price we paid.

This hotel is a great value. The prices are low, but for a no-frills chain, you don't miss out on much. The whole place was remarkably clean. The décor is a little old--it reminded me of the 1980s with the wood paneling on the room walls--but it was still very pleasant.

The room we had seemed spacious, even with two beds, a table, two chairs, a desk, and a dresser. There was an old tube TV mounted on the wall, but it worked. The air conditioner was effective and not too loud, so we could keep the room at just the temperature we wanted. The beds were big and very comfortable, and the pillows were simply perfect.

The window was big and clear. We had a great view of the Denny's across the parking lot, and we actually had a nice view of the mountains to the west. The Denny's sign didn't bother me any, but some guests may want to request a room on the east side of the building and as far to the south as possible to avoid that kind of light.

The room was pleasantly quiet--not much road noise, not much parking lot noise (I heard two trucks pull in and park over the three nights we stayed), and not much noise from other guests. In fact, I could only hear that neighbors were watching TV one evening, but I could easily ignore it and didn't have any idea what they were watching.

They also had a little basket of blue rags in the room so guests can clean up after themselves if necessary. I thought that was a nice touch. I've occasionally spilled something from dinner and wanted to wipe it up but didn't want to use one of the bath towels for it. This was the first place I've stayed that offered such a solution.

The breakfast room was small but welcoming. Breakfast included cereal, toast, waffles from the now-common waffle-maker (though I found that it needed butter or cooking spray to work properly), orange juice, instant oatmeal, coffee, and a small selection of fruit.

I didn't have much interaction with the front desk staff, but the two people I talked to were very friendly and seemed committed to providing a comfortable place to stay.

I gave this property a rating of 4 out of 5. Here's what I thought it needed to get a 5 out of 5 instead: A towel bar or hook near the sink (not just in the bathroom), sheer curtains to allow light while blocking outsiders from looking in (not just the blackout shades), and more breakfast options (like bagels or cups of yogurt). Otherwise, Western Inn met all our needs for a great price, and we're very likely to come back next time.

Room Tip: Less road noise to the south.
