“A nights stay on way to Grand Canyon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

We booked this through Priceline and paid $57 including breakfast for 4. The good thing about the hotel is that someone is at the desk 24hrs in the event you have a late flight arriving from Las Vegas ( as we did). We arrived at 3am not I do not remember much about the hotel. Looked clean and fresh when we woke up. Felt safe, and food was hot and fresh. It met our needs and is located close to Walmart which was our morning destination. There are lots of outlets right around the corner if you are in need of anything after arriving.
For the price, you cannot beat the location. We usually avoid places so inexpensive because of past bad experiences but I would stay here again for a simple place to sleep on our way to the Grand Canyon.

A nice eaily accessible location in St. George. The free breakfast had the ubiquitous waffle maker and the staff was extremely attentive and freindly. The pool was a little weird being half in and half outside with a curtain in between almost long enough to get a few laps in if you keep your stroke low as you pass under the curtain.

This was a pretty standard hotel room. It was clean. The internet was fair, about what I'd expect for a hotel. My only complaint was that the hot and cold in the shower was reversed and their never seemed to be cold water coming out of the bathroom sink.

While the hotel has a tennis court a large tent was set up on it for a wedding or something. It was too hot out to play tennis anyway. The pool was quite large and extended from indoors to outdoors through a plastic curtain.

Breakfast was terrific. It was beyond the standard hotel breakfast offering french toast, eggs, fresh watermelon, etc., and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Completely baffled by the poor reviews, found everything clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast in the roomy hotel restaurant, wonderful pool and lobby areas. There are three buildings, we stayed in the main one so I don't know the condition of the others but they are probably newer?

Room Tip: Rooms in the main building were convenient to the pool and restaurant

This would have been the best place we stayed at but the gave us room that had a bed that was broke. The place was nice clean friendly. Very updated but
none of that will fix that the bed we got was not usable. We had to sleep on the floor would you not think they would know the bed was broke. Once you set in the bed you went to the bottom and center. So since I paid for a bed and place to sleep this ruined our whole experience.
So I would be cautious staying here.

On-line it shows indoor room access and clean rooms. NOT TRUE!! VERY DIRTY AND IN DIRE NEED OF A REMODEL!! This place is Gross the minute you walk in. Floors full of dirt, trash and hair. The rooms are accessed from outside. The first was NASTY!! Hair EVERYWHERE and SMELLS LIKE TRASH. Shower was so NASTY I was scared. Pool has so much chlorine that it fills the lobby area. Staff and buffet were the only positives.

Thank you for your valuable feeedback
We appreciate you letting us know where improvement can be made. Yes, we do have interior and exterior corridors at our property. Some guests like the convienence of being able to park close to their room. I have taken corrective action with the housekeeping staff to make sure all our rooms are clean and comfortable for all our guests. I would have loved to get you in a room that was satisfactory
given the chance. Our pool is a salt based solution to accomodate the indoor location.

thank you

This hotel is in a convenient area close to the freeway, other hotels and restaurants, etc...
The lobby area is like stepping back into a 70s era Holiday Inn. There is an indoor/outdoor (swim under from in to out) pool so the area has a heavy chlorine smell. Priceline has this hotel as a "3". There is no way it is a 3...I'd say it's a 2
The staff was nice though check in was slow. Free paper each day and a free "hot breakfast" that we had one day and passed the next day...Limited selection and really not very good.
Rooms were clean but carpet was worn and stained, coffee maker was dirty, tub did not drain and the showerhead is about chest high (you would NOT want to shower here if you are over about 6'2" or so..short ceiling in shower). Bedding was of good quality and linens were clean and fresh but mattress was clearly past its best days...
Bottom line is that this is an "average" hotel but it really needs updating. It is showing its age

Room Tip: They are all about the same.

Thank you for your valuable feedback

We are updating the hotel changing carpets and updating our rooms. The Hotel was build in 1983 so it is an older property. We have changed our pool to a salt water solution. to cut back on the chlorine smell.

Thanks Again for your feedback. it helps us improve.

Sincerely;
