“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2012

We stayed at the BW last weekend for a Martina Mcbride concert at Tuacahn. I have stayed here before but my husband had not and he was impressed with the room, the cleanliness and the breakfast. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. The breakfast room was crowded, but we still were able to eat what we wanted and as much as we wanted. I would definitely stay the BW again.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for staying with us while in St.George for the Martina McBride Concert. The Tuacahn has many great shows and concerts all year long. We are glad you brought your family to stay with us and show them our hotel.

We are glad you enjoyed the breakfast. Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many guests go back for a second plate since there are so many different food choices. That is why at times the breakfast is very energetic.

Thank you for your comments and hope to see you again soon!

We’re in this BW for the second of two nights. All the positive previous reports on this BW seem to be right on target. The room is spacious, clean and well appointed. There’s a fridge, SMALL micro and a separate sink by the fridge/micro. The TV is a large flat screen with ample channels. The breakfast tops most other motels we’ve recently stayed in [with the exception, perhaps, of the Drury Inn in Flagstaff], with fresh fruit, and hot choices like bacon and ham; with two types of scrambled eggs, pancakes and make your own waffles; there are the usual hot and cold drinks and some not usually offered. This BW Abbey Inn definitely rates the positives, and then some.

Room Tip: Three story building, so ask for the floor you prefer.

This was our first time staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The hotel itself is very well maintained and well kept. And the rooms are roomy and clean. They provide a full hot breakfast which will have something for everyone. Although with the two experiences with the breakfast the Saturday breakfast was very busy and there was no room for us to sit so we took our food back to our room which is not allowed. Other than that our experience here was great. Could be our go to hotel for St. George.

We had just finshed a two week 2,000 mile tour of Utah and wanted somewhere to unwind before the crowds of Vegas and the flight home. St George turned out to be a good choice to stay with a blend of old and new architecture and the Abbey Inn turned out to be the perfect choice. We opted for a suite in a separate block (where conventions are held). The room was enormous with two beds, a settee in a lounge area, an excellent bathroom, microwave and fridge. The pool is well situated and on a warm day in march we had no problems getting sunbeds. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast area is large and well equipped with a good range of both hot and cold food. This hotel has 'on the go' goffee/tea in reception, something that was missing from some of the other Best Westerns on our trip.

Room Tip: The suites are a good option if staying more than one night.

We stayed here for a week, in one of the suites, and it was really lovely. Our family fit well in the space, the staff were outstanding and responsive, and the breakfast was great. The kids enjoyed splashing around in the pool, eating as much breakfast as they want, and being so close to the places we were visiting. It's about 45 minutes from Zions, but we were glad to be in St. George, as there were lots of other things to do in town, as well as drive into the park each day.

The rooms were well cleaned, and the staff helped us so much for the little things we needed here and there.

Room Tip: We didn't see the standard rooms, just the suites, but stay in one if you can! The extra space w...

I stayed for a long weekend in late February. This is a solid choice for those seeking a hotel centrally located in St. George. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of food to select from and the quality was good. The dining area is relatively large and we had no problem finding a table. Although the rooms were rather standard for a Best Western Hotel, they were clean, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temperature for showers was fine. Overall a good choice in St. George and I will probably stay here in the future.

My wife and I like to come to St. George for several long weekends during the winter to get out of the cold and relax in a "warmer" environment. The Abbey Inn has been our hotel of choice the for the last few years. When we check in the staff is courteous and very helpful. They actually look like they enjoy their jobs and are happy to have you stay at their hotel. The service has always been excellent. Any additional requests have always been met with great customer service. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely continue to use the Abbey Inn as our hotel of choice in St. George.

Room Tip: We like the 3rd floor away from the elevators or stairs -- much less noise!
