“Great place to relax after a long day on the road”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Coral Hills has everything you need when you are on a road trip. Both times we have stayed we have been able to catch up on laundry, which can be hard to find, and enjoy the clean pool. The pool is open a bit later than most so you can relax and look at the stars. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable night. The breakfast has a nice selection with plenty of food to get you off to a good start. We will be back!

Marilyn H, Many of us have worked here for several years and it’s enjoyable to see guest we know and recognize. I will check in to a sweet roll option, I’m not certain it would be something we could have available every day because of the cost. However, if you let us know at the time of reservation we are not oppose to purchasing some specifically for your enjoyment. We like to do such things when we are able. We have done like things in the past for others who have specific dietary needs or allergies. Thanks for choosing us, please come again soon!

Stayed here for work. It was nice and quiet even tho it was on a main street. Bed was really comfy. Rooms were clean. One indoor pool with Hot tub and one outdoor pool with another Hot tub. Kept up really nice. Breakfast was pretty basic but that's what I expected. Good value for the money in St. George, close to a lot of things in town- walking distance

Michael S, there are another 12 restaurants that you can walk to from the BW Coral Hills and should check them out next time you’re in town, there are also a great many museums and historic sites you may find interesting as well. Thank you for your great review.

Very enjoyable experience and staff who are extremely helpful. Close to the LDS temple grounds and Brigham Young's house. For the number of rooms, the breakfast area could be a bit larger. I prefer to have the "business center" to be more private when using their computer.

Deborah B, Thank you for your review. It is really an easy sell for us to be so close to so many wonderful buildings in the historic district. I understand your comments regarding the business center, unfortunately it is the best we are able to do under the circumstances we are placed. The nice thing is that the majority of the time there are no other persons around for its location to be an issue. For those reading this review our guest computer is located in our breakfast room. Thank you again Deborah, one day we will have an ideal set up.

After 8 hours of crossing the desert in 102 degree temperature on our motorcycle, Kaitlan welcomed us with a smile, and took care of us quickly. Later she called our room to see if everything was okay, and recommended a great place for dinner. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and has two great pools. Breakfast was good. We will definately be coming back as we continue to tour Utah.

Our sister's weekend trip at Best Western was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was one issue that required maintenance, and the maintenance person responded immediately and took care of the problem instantly. The room was clean and the service was great. We loved the breakfast!

Debbie R, Yeah for maintenance! I don’t think they are praised nearly enough. They do so much behind the scenes and it is easy to take them for granite until things are not working. I have learned some great principles from them. Thank you for mentioning that experience. I am glad to read the weekend wend great for the sister’s weekend. Please come back soon!

The room was clean, well designed, attractively decorated and reasonably priced. But, if you have any problem with steps, stay away! There were steps leading into the lobby, several different levels of steps leading to the rooms and even a whole set of stairs leading down into the breakfast room! I don't see how anyone with a wheelchair could get around this hotel at all.
The worst part of the stay for us was the air conditioning. It was working fine, but then stopped in the middle of the night. We woke in the morning to a hot, stuffy room. After calling the front desk, we were told to get down on the floor and push the reset button on the air conditioning unit. I don't think any part of a hotel stay should require getting down on the floor. We did get a discount on our room after this debacle.

Green Features: I really like the fact that there was a lighted light switch and there was a recycle can near the trash can.

Alexandra T, I did a search for your name and last initial to find the room you stayed in. There is a request on your reservation regarding the need for a ground floor room which I am glad was fulfilled. Our wheelchair accessible room is located in the indoor building called the East Wing which is void of steps. It is true there are a lot of steps throughout the property which by today’s standards seem excessive. We currently have plans progressing to eliminate steps into the office but I am uncertain of the time frame.
It is also true the breakfast room is located down a flight of stairs with no elevator available. Permit me to explain a little how our breakfast room has evolved: Once the largest conference space in St. George; it then became a game room, and is now used as our breakfast room. Since the beginning it has been a challenge to have ample room for guest and food service. Originally it was our hope to replace our office and breakfast area completely with a new building. This would allow us to eliminate stairs, expand our lobby and breakfast area as well as our breakfast offerings. However, the economy… (Etc, etc.). So for now we have to make do with the space we have. I am sorry for the problems such a space causes.
The original structures of the property were built in the late 1960’s and as such there are certain facets of the property that are currently grandfathered from the ADA requirements. That said, we are actively watching for the first opportunities to correct, upgrade and update as our circumstances allow.
Addressing the air conditioning it is unfortunate it stop working during the night. Such is not normal for our units. I am glad our staff was able to offer a prompt solution. Maintenance checked and serviced the unit after you checked out.
I hesitate to ask but I noticed you gave every item three bullets but the overall score was only two. Would you consider changing it to three to match the review? It would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you so much for staying with us

We were full of complements for this hotel during our recent stay. The value for he price was excellent. The rooms were very well appointed, clean, cool, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, towels were abundant, there was a fridge in the room, nice tv, plenty of outlets, and wifi. The pool is small but just right for a cool dip, and my kids spent time there each day. I would most definitely recommend this for a family stay and would not hesitate to return.

Green Features: There is some info in the room regarding the recycling of soap.

findjul, I am glad to read that you and the kids had a great stay with us. Next time you stay with us there are two attractions you may want to check out. Just 2 blocks away is the St. George Downtown Plaza. It is a wide open space used for local festivals which provides a lot of room to run around. On the plaza are a splash pad and carrousel which kids absolutely love. Next door to the plaza is the St. George Arts Building. Inside this building will house the future Children’s Museum with many hands-on exhibits.
Thanks again for staying with us and for recommending us.
