After 8 hours of crossing the desert in 102 degree temperature on our motorcycle, Kaitlan welcomed us with a smile, and took care of us quickly. Later she called our room to see if everything was okay, and recommended a great place for dinner. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and has two great pools. Breakfast was good. We will definately be coming back as we continue to tour Utah.

Our sister's weekend trip at Best Western was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was one issue that required maintenance, and the maintenance person responded immediately and took care of the problem instantly. The room was clean and the service was great. We loved the breakfast!

Debbie R, Yeah for maintenance! I don’t think they are praised nearly enough. They do so much behind the scenes and it is easy to take them for granite until things are not working. I have learned some great principles from them. Thank you for mentioning that experience. I am glad to read the weekend wend great for the sister’s weekend. Please come back soon!

The room was clean, well designed, attractively decorated and reasonably priced. But, if you have any problem with steps, stay away! There were steps leading into the lobby, several different levels of steps leading to the rooms and even a whole set of stairs leading down into the breakfast room! I don't see how anyone with a wheelchair could get around this hotel at all.
The worst part of the stay for us was the air conditioning. It was working fine, but then stopped in the middle of the night. We woke in the morning to a hot, stuffy room. After calling the front desk, we were told to get down on the floor and push the reset button on the air conditioning unit. I don't think any part of a hotel stay should require getting down on the floor. We did get a discount on our room after this debacle.

Green Features: I really like the fact that there was a lighted light switch and there was a recycle can near the trash can.

Alexandra T, I did a search for your name and last initial to find the room you stayed in. There is a request on your reservation regarding the need for a ground floor room which I am glad was fulfilled. Our wheelchair accessible room is located in the indoor building called the East Wing which is void of steps. It is true there are a lot of steps throughout the property which by today’s standards seem excessive. We currently have plans progressing to eliminate steps into the office but I am uncertain of the time frame.
It is also true the breakfast room is located down a flight of stairs with no elevator available. Permit me to explain a little how our breakfast room has evolved: Once the largest conference space in St. George; it then became a game room, and is now used as our breakfast room. Since the beginning it has been a challenge to have ample room for guest and food service. Originally it was our hope to replace our office and breakfast area completely with a new building. This would allow us to eliminate stairs, expand our lobby and breakfast area as well as our breakfast offerings. However, the economy… (Etc, etc.). So for now we have to make do with the space we have. I am sorry for the problems such a space causes.
The original structures of the property were built in the late 1960’s and as such there are certain facets of the property that are currently grandfathered from the ADA requirements. That said, we are actively watching for the first opportunities to correct, upgrade and update as our circumstances allow.
Addressing the air conditioning it is unfortunate it stop working during the night. Such is not normal for our units. I am glad our staff was able to offer a prompt solution. Maintenance checked and serviced the unit after you checked out.
I hesitate to ask but I noticed you gave every item three bullets but the overall score was only two. Would you consider changing it to three to match the review? It would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you so much for staying with us

We were full of complements for this hotel during our recent stay. The value for he price was excellent. The rooms were very well appointed, clean, cool, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, towels were abundant, there was a fridge in the room, nice tv, plenty of outlets, and wifi. The pool is small but just right for a cool dip, and my kids spent time there each day. I would most definitely recommend this for a family stay and would not hesitate to return.

Green Features: There is some info in the room regarding the recycling of soap.

findjul, I am glad to read that you and the kids had a great stay with us. Next time you stay with us there are two attractions you may want to check out. Just 2 blocks away is the St. George Downtown Plaza. It is a wide open space used for local festivals which provides a lot of room to run around. On the plaza are a splash pad and carrousel which kids absolutely love. Next door to the plaza is the St. George Arts Building. Inside this building will house the future Children’s Museum with many hands-on exhibits.
Thanks again for staying with us and for recommending us.

We recently stayed in St. George as the halfway point between Bryce Canyon and Las Vegas. I couldn't find any fault with the room at the BW Coral Hills. The property was extremely clean, rooms were well appointed with nice decor, lots of towels, nice bedding, and coffee pot. Rates were reasonable and it was a good value. Check in was flawless and the front desk staff directed us to several good restaurants just down the street. Room rates come with complimentary breakfast. Although the breakfast looked very inviting, it was so crowded in the small room that there was no place to sit and, as a result, we had to forego the free breakfast. After we returned from our trip, BW sent me a survey, I answered, and they responded immediately to my disgruntlement about the breakfast room. That let me know that management was very hands-on and valued customer feedback. Had it not been for that one issue, it would have been a flawless stay.

kpickerell, Thank you for your stay with us and your review! A review coming from such a Top Contributor to the Trip Advisor site is a compliment indeed. We do have a wonderful staff and try our best to make it a great place for them to work and for our guests to stay. We do have discounts available for guests to eat at local restaurants if they miss breakfast or forego eating with us. I will work with the front desk staff to bring this option to a greater awareness to our future guests.

We arrived here around 4pm. Our room that we requested wasn't quite ready yet. the personel was friendly and accommodating. We were escorted to the breakfast room, where we gladly stayed for 20 minutes to cool off, since it was 103 degrees outside. Our room was clean and well appointed with fridge, microwave and flatscreen TV. The beds were excellent, we slept very well. The bathroom was a bit tiny. The coffeeshop style breakfast area and ample food made for a pleasant start in the morning. The two swimming pools were the highlight of our stay. For the price we paid this place is a bargain. We frequented this facility twice and will do so again.

Klausmac, Thank you for staying with us at the Best Western Coral Hills. We know there are many choices in the St. George area and many of them are worthy competitors. In the coming winter months we will be adding window valances and upgrading our bathroom/vanity counter tops. When you stay with us again and notice the changes please let me know what you think. Thank you also for contributing so much to the TripAdvisor site it has added value for those who use it.

The hotel is very clean. Nice comfortable room and good bed. Enjoy the balcony in the evening and early morning. Since I was in St. George to visit my father, the room was for resting in the evening only and of course breakfast, which was quite good. Staff very nice and friendly. Saw people washing all of the glass doors - keeping a very clean facility.

Sandra F, I am glad we gave you such a good impression. If we ever seem to falter in our service please let us know. I have updated your guest history so the staff will be aware of your appreciation of a balcony room and offer one if it is available. Our number one compliment for the past two years has been our staff. They ARE terrific! While you visit if you need any recommendations for a great restaurant just let the front desk staff know what you are in the mood for and they will have a ready answer for you. Thank you for your review and staying with us again.
