“What a disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

For the price the hotel was just plain awful. They gave our room to someone else even though we called beforehand. When we arrived they couldn't accommodate our needs unless we paid more. Total jerks about it.

The front staff wasn't friendly.

They didn't have enough breakfast for all the guests and the service was slow at best.

We will never stay there again. What a rip off.

The hotel has really nice interior, rooms are big and clean. Flat tv with premium channels. Breakfast (included in the price) was pretty good as for US standards - with scrambled eggs and sausages. Free wifi. Good location - close to I-15 and shopping center.

Room Tip: There is A/C on the corridor at each end (at least on 2nd floor). It's quite noisy so you may as...

We arrived on Friday night and stood two nights. The hotel is nice and clean the room was bigger than I expected and the bathroom was twice the size of a normal hotel bathroom. Our room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. It opened at 6am and everything was ready. The food was sausage circles with powdered eggs they had English muffins; bagels, toast your typical breakfast items. I can't complain cause it was free as well as three types of juices and the coffee was strong just the way we like it. Just a few items to mention in our bathroom we only had shampoo no other items, I did ask the front desk for conditioner as well as hand lotion which they do have. So if your house keeper forgets just ask the desk clerk and they will happily provide it. Also there was no blanket on the bed which was quite odd but it can be found in the closet. The bedspread weighs a ton and of course we immediately removed it off the bed and did not use it. The A/C worked well. They had a gym but you can't use it till 9am which is a bit ridiculous cause its side by side with another room. That is really the only true complaint I have about this hotel. They should either move the gym to another location cause the average traveler can't wait till 9am to exercise. Overall it gets 4 out of 5 starts. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms across from the pool are loud till 10pm at night but then its quite after that.

First off Bill at your desk was incredible to deal with. Directions and very thoughtful.
The hotel was decent middle of the road quality. It is clean but dated. The wifi was wonky if you were on late at all. The shower must of been installed by little people. Being 6'3" can be fun but not when shower heads are only 5'8" high. Cold water showers in a hotel are rare but that happened. The breakfast was traditional continental and nothing special. Wasn't that impressed with the freshness but then again it is February... Would I stay there again? Yea maybe but it wouldn't be my first choice....

I'm writing this review sitting in the room using the very fast complimentary internet:

After being cooped up in the car with 2 little kids we were thrilled to find this hotel with free WiFi, continental breakfast, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, and they offered a military discount. The rooms are super clean and who cares if there is only a small shampoo and soaps in the bathroom. Who really doesn't bring their own shampoo and conditioner on a trip? There are some tiny issues with things being a bit run down or out of service, but nothing that affected us! This hotel used to be very beautiful, and being fond of homey things, this was the perfect place for us!

Oh, best of all was the sweetest man who checked us in! I didn't catch his name, but he was so very helpful and kind. He deserves an extra thank you!

On a family trip to Zion National Park our car broke down just outside in St. George and we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites St George. The room was luxurious and clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly in helping us get a rental car and giving us information about surrounding attractions. We had a good time and would highly recommend Country Inn & Suites St George.

Average place, nothing to really brag about or gripe about. Bedding was sufficient. Wish I could say more, but cannot elaborate when nothing really stands out negative or positive. We were here for just one night, and arrived late.
