“quick dinner after long day drive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Looking for a quick dinner after a long days drive.Wanted to avoid the typical chain restaurants. Most places we wanted to try were closed on Sundays. George's was VERY quiet around 5:30. Waiter couldn't answer some questions since he was new but sought out help from other employees. We shared a goat cheese salad and a pasta dish. Very tasty and plenty to eat. Super good garlic bread.
Average but nothing to write home about.

“Good for what it is.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

This is good bar food. I have eaten here several times and tried a variety of sandwiches (the pulled pork being my favorite). Fries are just so-so, but take a side salad instead of fries and the meal moves up a notch (much better than your average side salad). I find the tables and room layout a bit odd, but then the place is oddly shaped. I feel the prices are a little high for the type of food it is (most mains in the $ 9 - $12 range). Service can seem a little rushed and uneven. A plus can be their evening entertainment (check before going if this is important to you).

“Overpriced and horrible food.”

Ordered Fish Tacos and they came in pre made hard shells. The fish was good inside but ruined by the shell. Told the waitress my concern and she could of cared less.

“Fits the bill for what it is”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013 via mobile

This is basically brew pub food. The cheese steak sandwich I had was tasty. This is a good choice, especially if you want just a casual time. They lean towards spicy fare but the will change out (such as Swiss cheese for pepper jack).

“Straightforward food, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Had dinner here, at the bar, on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Food was nicely prepared and promptly delivered. The strawberry rhubarb tart was excellent. Nice atmosphere and live music starting at 8 pm was great.
