“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

We had played this course a few years ago, and currently it doesn't seem to be in as good as condition. However, the course was adequate and had a few neat holes, but several fairways weren't in great condition. Our experience was dampened by one of staff who drove up to us after we had played a few holes. He told us that our GPS wasn't working and that he had to get it working. We told him that we didn't actually notice that we had a GPS and that it did'nt matter to us, to which he told us in a very serious manner that they HAD to keep track of us. We didn't feel trusted or welcome because of this. There are lots of better choices for playing golf, like Coral Canyon or Sand Hollow.

“Get a new Manager!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

Great course, great pro. Good food, but slow. The Manager was horrible! I've been to many wonderful golf courses... Like most of us. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect from any employee! I pay top dollar, and get treated like that?!?! Really? With people like her, there is no way it will succeed. Ego trip I assume. I just hope they figure it out before it's too late and people start avoiding the place.

“So-so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

We played here at the end of March. It was not the best course we played in the area. Front nine is bland, wide open. Back nine has better views of Snow Canyon State Park. Fairways seemed in rough shape, perhaps becuase of the time of year we played. It has potential, but don't expect to be wowed on the front nine. Beautiful clubhouse though, seems like it had a decent restaurant as well, although we did not try it.

“Great Golf Course with Great Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

A little north of town on hwy 18 just before you get to Snow Canyon, is the golf course formerly called the Ledges. Designed by Matt Dye, member of the Pete Dye family, the course has two separate nines. On the east side of the highway you have a traditional golf course that is cut out of high desert with mesquite brush and cactus. Holes are fairly straight forward and a good warm up for the more challenging back nine. Once you go through the tunnel to hole 11 your are in for a treat, course runs along the Snow Canyon rim, the holes are both scenic and challenging. Many lay up holes and undulating greens make for a real test of golf skills. Hole 14 may be the most beautiful hole in Utah. Dramatic rocks and the town of Santa Clara off in the distance greet you when you get to the green. Great staff, always friendly. Best golf course food in Utah. Call the pro shop and ask for Tom or Mike and they will set you up for a round of golf you will remember for a long time.
