“Warm and comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

We live in Las Vegas and wanted a quiet weekend get away. We found Seven Wives and are hooked. The location is great, the room very comfortable (great bed!) the breakfast was outstanding and the Inn Keeper is charming.

Room Tip: When you make a reservation let them know what kind of room you want. There are large light airy roo...

We enjoyed the hospitality and wonderful food at Seven Wives. It was a delightful break from the "modern" hotels we had been staying in on our western trip. Seven Wives mixes old fashioned hospitality with modern conveniences..Internet, delicious beverages and scrumptious breakfast offerings. The next time we are in St. George, Utah, you can be certain that we will stay at Seven Wives b&b.

This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first. The rooms are comfy and have distinctive decorations for each room. For example, one room has an old Ford automobile converted into a jacuzzi. Friendly staff and a great breakfast.

I have been going to the Seven Wives Inn periodically since 2005. I return nearly every year because I love this place. I hesitate to write a glowing review out of selfishness...if too many people know about this wonderful oasis, I may not be able to book a room the next time I want to go. The inn is located in a beautiful location, within walking distance to downtown St. George and an easy 45-minute drive to Zion national park. If you are going on vacation in Southwest Utah, you cannot beat this fine inn for comfort and enjoyment.

Room Tip: The Ada cottage in the back is a wonderful get-away. A detached structure, it offers a bit more priv...

We really enjoyed our recent one night stay on June 13, 2013 at Seven Wives Inn. We left Zion NP that morning, spent 3-4 hours in Bryce Canyon and made it to the Inn sometime around 8:00 p.m. We stayed in the Caroline room up one flight of stairs in the President's House next door to the main house. There are other rooms on the lower level if stairs are an issue for you. The bed was comfy, the ac worked great, the room was clean and the plumbing worked great for such an old home. There was minimal street noise even though our room faced the street and I'm a rather light sleeper. I slept great. The Inn is within walking distance to the quaint downtown of St. George with a good number of restaurants to choose from. We ate at the nearby pizza place next to the pasta place, can't remember the name but the pizza was tasty. The main house has a refrigerator and freezer for guest use which helped us keep our water bottles frozen for our cooler. We spoke with Seven Wives owner Vanessa at breakfast and enjoyed hearing her story of how she and her husband came to be owners. She is perfect for this job and will make you feel at home. Don't hesitate to stay! Terri from Birmingham, AL

We originally stayed here 28 years ago and it was lovely. We stayed in the Rachel Room at the President Building of Seven Wives Inn for one night. This old Victorian building shows some wear, but also has some amazing architectural features, and the accommodations were fine: clean, quiet, comfortable bed, nice furnishings, Found breakfast a little disappointing, Was not what I expect of the B&B concept. The location is perfect, on a quiet, tree-lined street in the historic center of St. George. It was just a few blocks away of Ancestor Square and Main Street. Overall, it was still a lovely experience. Hopefully, I won't wait another 28 years to go back.

Room Tip: Be sure to look at room's detail to determine which room you want. Some have king size bed but...

We stayed in the Rachel Room at the Seven Wives Inn for one night. This old Victorian building shows some wear, but also has some amazing architectural features, and the accommodations were fine: clean, quiet, comfortable bed, nice furnishings, TV and WiFi worked. Breakfast was excellent. The location is very nice, on a quiet, tree-lined street in the historic center of St. George. It is also walking distance from a number of restaurants; we had a good meal at a nearby Thai restaurant. One of reasons we stopped in St. George was to go to nearby Snow Canyon State Park, definitely worth a visit, if you're into bizarre geological formations.
