“great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I was stranded in Richfield due to an untimely alternator failure. This restaurant was walking distance to my hotel and I showed up 5 minutes before closing hungry. The service was phenomenal, food was great home cooking style.

“Great chicken fried steak!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

Was really jonesing for a good chicken fried steak. It was awesome and huge'
It had great flavor and the cream gravy was perfection. The mashed potatoes are skin on and a little lumpy just the way I like them. Could have skipped the cole slaw.

She had the chicken cordon bleu and it was really good.

“No.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

4 out of 5... Really? This meal was very disappointing from the overcooked chicken to the dense flavorless "frontier fries." We visit Richfield for business and won't be eating here again.

I felt like I was eating leftovers and my husband was actually concerned that his coleslaw had gone off.

The waitstaff was friendly, but not overly competent. Although there were only a few of us in the restaurant we had to ask for drink refills - after they brought the wrong drink to start.

“Glad we stopped.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

Hours are 8 am until 9:30 pm every day. The restaurant serves breakfast until noon. Cowboy, farm theme as would be expected. OVERALL= Very Good. SERVICE= Very Good. Prompt, friendly. FOOD= Very Good, Varied menu, sandwiches, salads, and wraps mostly for lunch and more extensive dinner selections, Frontier potatoes were a delight- small new red skin potatoes deep fried and seasoned. The beer battered fries were crispy and good. The burgers were large and juicy. VALUE= Very Good. Lunch prices were reasonable. ATMOSPHERE=Very Good. Interesting. Cowboy on a Palomino on the roof sets the tone for a ranch/farm décor. rustic and homey. Photographs on the fireplace mantel are of family of long ago. All round relaxing place to break the interstate travel.

“Very disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

We were told this was great comfort food. We both had the ribs and they were tough, like jerky and not tasty. BBQ sauce was the only highlight, it was good. Side dishes quite mediocre. Poor beer and wine choices. This is also not particularly a value for dinner. Was not impressed with the interior, tables, etc. Service was pretty good but could not make up for a poor dinner.

Recommend you avoid!
