We have stayed at Aspenwood Manor about 10 times. At first we were thrilled. The value is great and lots of room. Aspenwood doesn't raise their prices during graduation times and other holidays. We appreciate that they don't gouge customers at these times. They are responsive and care about their clients/customer service.
As time has gone on it has become a bit run down. Marks on the walls, furnishings getting worn out, etc. I think lots of big families stay and it shows. If you stay for several days, you will find you run out of towels. There is no housekeeping unless you stay for 7 days. A few more amenities would be appreciated. Things like paper towels in the kitchen would help. Although they do have dish towels, they don't feel like they are clean. There is construction going on in that part of town due to the new temple in Provo, so it is a bit chaotic and loud around the area. If you stay on the bottom floor you will overlook the police vehicle parking lot.
I still give Aspenwood Manor a good but cannot say it is excellent. For the budget conscious traveler it is still a very good value if you are willing to overlook a few things.
