“Meet the Needs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Stayed for one night while in town for the BYU vs Texas football game. This is your basic Sleep Inn with an excellent location in a business park on the south end of Provo. Easy access to I-15, South Towne Mall, and many restaurants and stores. The hotel itself was clean, service was good, the room was recently remodeled with a very comfortable king size bed, 32" flat screen tv, comfortable chair and footstool. Bathroom was clean and of average size. There was a small workout room and the pool and jazcuzzi were very nice. With a rate of less than $60.00 one could not go wrong. The only negative would be the tiny breakfast area and a miniscule complimentary breakfast, but then again it is complimentary. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location just off I-15 and room was good too (though other hotels are closer to BYU and UVU if that matters to you). Heating-cooling system was effective but loud (either blasting or not) and breakfast was only adequate.

The hotel is clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was awesome, but...there was something not quite right. At check in there was one stressed member of staff trying to handle check in, questions, complaints and the phones which kept ringing. He did a good job, bit it was obvious they were under staffed. Someone was asking about towels for the pool and he told them they were out and there was nothing he could do about that. I noticed the next day when we went swimming there were still no towels. The breakfast area was woefully tiny and the hotel was busy. We had to sit on the staircase to eat our very basic breakfast, there were people eating in the reception area. Another thing we noticed is the card coder at reception does not work properly we had to renew our cards daily or they would not work and I saw three other people complaining about the same issue. All in all the hotel is nice but if it's a busy time, my advise is look else where.

I'm sorry that your overall experience was not to your expectations. The staff works hard to give all guests the best service but on occasion we don't meet everyone's expectations. I am appreciative that you communicated your comments as I share both the congratulatory comments as well as comments that indicate improvement needs. Thank you for your stay.

They would have gotten an excellent if the breakfast area was bigger. Only about 5 tables and was even hard to get to the food. Other then that location great, Ruby River restaurant easy walking distance and had great meal their. Had view of mountains from my room but would have been better if windows were washed. I would stay again as it had great value.

Good location, easy I-15 access and straight shot to BYU campus. With price on the lower end I wasn't expecting the Hilton. Given that, beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Towels were the small motel variety and one of the our nights we only had one washcloth. The night front desk clerk was helpful and nice. The continental breakfast was meh! Very thin, tasteless micro bacon and the usual. I deliberately selected a place with breakfast and it was just OK, more continental than many offer now but kids were happy enough though woefully inadequate seating. I realize they were filled to capacity so maybe a normal time would be enough. TV choices were terrible and reception was poor. Free wifi was unreliable but on day 3 I asked and the night clerk reset the server. Should have inquired sooner. Pool was nice, though cool and hot tub was lukewarm. Clean shower (no tub but that was clearly stated when I booked and fine with me). Short on surface/closet space. Air was on so room was cool on arrival and housekeeping kept room. clean. Lobby carpet needed cleaning

It's a good looking facility, has elevators, the rooms were good size but... The doors slammed shut unless you phyiscally caught them to slow them down. The hallways and elevators were stuffy, no air. Also, it has the usual thin walls. You hear people up and down the hallways and babies crying. The morning breakfast bar was not kept up well. Breakfast was 6 to 9. We went at 7 and they were out of bacon and eggs and no one in sight to prepare more. The good news was that our room was cool when we got there. A nice treat considering most lodging establishments don't think about that.

Room Tip: Since they have an elevator, goo for the top floor. That way you won't hear "elephants&quo...

We stopped to stay in Provo on our way home and were expecting something similar to other choice hotels we stayed at previously. The first room they gave us was filthy. The bed was stripped of linens, wet towels were on the floor, supplies left in the room and the door was unlocked. The front desk attendant after irritated when we reported that the room was not appropriate. We were given another room without an apology. Our second room has burned/melted carpet spots, wall paper torn off the wall and smelled dirty. I was very disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend staying at this sleep in Provo.
