We have had crews as well as myself staying at the National 9 in Price and Welington since June of 2010 and will be there until June or July of 2011.
We have been and are very pleased with our stay in both hotels, working out of town all the time is not easy but the staff at the two places were amazing and very helpful. We have alot of men moving from one place to another and the staff working the desk were always great to check with Don or myself just to make sure of people checking in and out and keeping the rooms occupied with our men.
The beds in the rooms could be upgraded but are comfortable, the rooms are clean and were always ready for us.
We will for sure be staying at the National 9 for as long as we are working in the area and in the future as well.

Room Tip: Room 101, king size and close to the office

The reason I stayed here was because it was late and the value it had the best rate. But it really was not the case I feel this was a rip off. I asked for a non smoking room and it smelt like a cheap chemical airfreashener. The chair in the room looked like it was stained with body fluid. The sheets need to be replaced they were not white they seemed to be stained with urine. The toilet and shower was a joke there was soap scum on the shower curtain and under the toilet seat there was poop stain. The service was horrible about 11:30 at night there was guys outside our room door partying and having a BBQ. The smoke from there cigarettes blew into our room from the leaking door. I called the front desk and asked the girl to do something about it she told me that my only options was to asked them to quite down or call the police. The party went on for hours so I called again same thing happened the other front desk person did nothing that shows how secure this place is. The lobby is very deceiving looks new but never cleaned. The breakfast was a joke they didn't stock it at all there was only two bagels in a plastic case that was filthy as with all the other items the waffle maker was full of grease that has jelled on it. The sad thing is the front desk sat there reading a book and txt on her phone.
I would advise to not stay here unless you only want to use this place for a hour if you know what I mean.

Horrible experience. Rented 2 rooms and they both had such a strong pet urine smell that you could taste it with every breath. Anyone with breathing issues stay away from this hotel. General manager was there but never came to respond to our complaints. Both rooms were just down right nasty, even worried about the dogs getting sick. Wrote corporate office and their response (from the CEO) was that only the "invisible" manager could correct the issue. Either pass this place by or sleep in your car. The most unsanitary, unhealthy motel room I have ever experienced. So bad that I am waiting to see if the county health department is going to investigate. Since there are several diseases you can get from pet urine including West Nile Virus.

As owner of the National 9 Inn in Price Utah, we take a great deal of pride in our rooms and a comment like this really lets us know that we dropped the ball with this guest. In reference to this guest, I refunded them for their rooms and offered them a free nights stay when they come back through which they expect to do in the spring of 2011. I am glad that they are giving us the opportunity to earn their business back

This incident has caused us to take a close look at all of our pet friendly rooms. We did replace the carpet in one of the two rooms this guest stayed in. We did verify from our housekeeping reports that the linens were changed as they are strictly required to do on all check outs.

This is one of the better motels that we have seen with the National 9 chain. It was clean and staff was friendly. The room was basic but had everything that we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast ok but nothing special. The place would be higher rated if they added a new coat of paint inside and out

We stopped here late at night after callling around for prices and to get a feel for the staff at different motels. We found this one to have a good price. The room was a bit older but was very clean. They had a microwave and small fridge in the room. The TV was new and was of high quality with a lot of channels. This was just right for weary travelers trying to get to a destination on a two day trip by car. The continental breakfast was good and adequate with a friendly staff in the room.
