“Great deal in Park City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

The Yarrow is nothing fancy but it has everything we needed for a great ski weekend-- convenient location within walking distance to grocery store and some shopping and movie theater and 5 min drive to MainStreet, easy parking, free internet, outdoor hot tub (also outdoor pool and a fitness room), restaurant with good breakfast, friendly staff, clean room. The bed was fine, although the pillows were not the best, but not the worst either. There's a printer in the lobby so you can print your boarding pass when it's time to go home, and they don't try to gouge you on the bottled water for sale in your room. We've stayed here before, and I'm sure we'll stay here again. For the price, you can't beat it.

This hotel was very conveniently located. It was not within walking distance to any bars, but there were a few restaurants that you could walk to. But, there is a free bus line that will take you to town, and it runs every 6-8 minutes, and from around 6 am to midnight. The rooms were pretty standard, but they were clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site, and also ski rental and car rental on site. I would stay here again, very much worth the money.

Yo are right affordability and location are hard to beat anywhere in Park City other than The Yarrow. We have been serving this community for over 40 years and enjoy having guests like you everyday.

I am glad to see that you used almost all of our services and found them to be supportive of your ski vacation. We hope you will choose to return to Park City and we would enjoy earning your business again.

Overall ok for a short stay, clean, good location close to Park City and Deer Valley resorts. Very poor Internet connection in the room (# 205) to the point it was impossible to browse. When asked a receptionist why it's so slow she literally said that it's good in the lobby...go figure. Also, water temperature in the outside jacuzzi was just slightly warm so we didn't brave to use it. Just an average hotel.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Park City. I wish you had stuck your toe in the Hot Tub a little further, because it is usually perfect with plenty of steam rolling off the top. We also keep our pool heated all Winter.

I hope you will be back in Park City and we would like to earn your business again!

This was my first visit to Park City. A few friends and I were looking into hotels in the area, only to find that many of them were out of our price range. We found the Yarrow, and the price was right. It was very close to the Canyons and Park City resorts, both of which we had intentions of skiing. We didn't expect much, and honestly we don't ever really need much. When we arrived, the hotel was extremely clean and much nicer than expected. The service was great and the staff was really knowledgeable of the area, making our lives easier beings this area was completely foreign to us. The girl at the front desk, Mariana basically assisted us with our entire trip. Her directions were accurate, restaurant and bar recommendations were exactly what we were looking for, and its always nice when someone is genuinely friendly and welcoming. No time was wasted as Mariana pointed us in the right direction to have a wonderful vacation. Park City is an amazing town, and the slopes will bring us back. I assure the experience we had at the Yarrow will also bring us back for another stay. Thanks so much, such a great time!!

Dear Joey M,

Thank you for your Wonderful comments. It always the best review when the guest acknowledges one of our associates, in your case, Mariana. I believe you hit the nail on the head with your reference to being genuine. That is exactly what we are trying to be. A great value, a great location for the entire area and provide responsive genuine service.

It is great to hear you will be back and we are looking forward to your next visit.

I was just here to ski, and this was a great location for the price, a 12 minute walk or so (with skis) to the lifts - perfect for me. Room was clean & comfortable, nothing fancy, which I didn't want to pay for anyway. :-) Hotel has a heated pool & hot tub also, which is very nice after a day on the slopes. Staff was very accommodating, although checking out Sunday morning they held my bags there so I could ski all day! They had a restaurant where I could get breakfast each morning, and they had was a bar too, although I never made it in.

I have been to Park City twice before, but had always stayed in rental homes with my family. On this trip with my son, I was looking for an affordable hotel that was clean, comfortable and had a hot tub to soak off some of the damage done on the slopes.

The Yarrow is not fancy, but the service is great, the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is great. We met plenty of nice folks at the hot tub, which was clean and well maintained.

Overall, a great stay.

If you plan to stay at Yarrow I recommend to book via a wholesale site like hotels.com or expedia.com. They will have a much better price than the hotel's website.
Location is very convenient - close to the Park City Ski Resort, Canyons and Deer Valley. There's a 24/7 supermarket walking distance and a big Sport Authority store. You can walk to the RiteAid pharmacy too.
Hotel has a heated pool and Jacuzzi. There's a small fitness center. Staff are friendly. Rooms are reasonably clean, have refrigerators and good a/c-heater units.

Dear Graf Burin,

We appreciate your business and thank you for your positive comments. It is great to hear that you had a Great Ski vacation in Park City and we look forward seeing back again. We do offer a match any rate that is published higher than our website. Not always, but many times if you have time to call you may have better room type options.

Safe traveling!!!!
