Fabulous experience! We're locals, and we like to visit the different B&B's in the area for mini getaways whenever we can. This one is by far our favorite though. This last time we tried something new - a cooking class as part of our stay. I love cooking, while my husband doesn't touch anything in the kitchen if he can help it. This was a new experience for us, and I wasn't sure if it would be a bust or not. It was PERFECT as it turns out! The Inn's chef took us all on a tour of the local farmer's market, discussed in-season produce, we all came up with a menu on the fly based on what looked best and went back to begin preparing. They keep the groups small (ours was only 4), and everything is hands-on. We all got to try a bit of technique and ask any questions we wanted. We made homemade pasta, with breaded and lightly fried various squashes served over (again homemade) pasta sauce of fresh tomato and herbs. For dessert we made a fresh peach pie with the last of the season’s peaches. Yum! We all sat down and ate family style - my husband and I agreed though it was a little outside our comfort zone to try this, it turned out to be amazingly fun. We both can't wait for the next time. Plus, the class is a bargain when you consider your meal is included!

The unique offerings such as cooking classes, local guided hikes, pairings with spas, etc. are all in addition to a top-notch B&B. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on (I had to peek to see what kind they were so I could definitely buy one the next time we're in the market!). The staff is super accommodating and friendly & the food is to die for. You simply can't go wrong. Don't even think of staying anywhere else!

Our experience at the Washington School Inn was so amazing that I am now writing my first online review EVER. This is the first bed and breakfast that my wife and I have stayed in and we absolutely loved it. The website was incredible and the comments I read online were great, but they didn't say enough. The location is perfect, the room was spotless, the grounds were adorable, and the food and service were exceptional. I can truly say that the Washington School Inn well exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back soon!!

  • Liked — Location, Food, Service, Hot Tub & Sauna, etc., etc., etc.
  • Disliked — Bed was too soft for me - my wife loved it though

Soft pillow top beds, staff that meets every need. breakfast was
a treat. Warm cookies in the evening. Wine and hordoerves
served on weekends. Book early, fills fast on w/e. Best location,
decorated so quaint. The only suggestion would be to put fans in the closets, gets warm at night, with no air, or put screens in the
windows to keep bugs out. This was our favorite place to stay
on our vacation, we felt at home. THANK YOU.

This was a fantastic stay! It was our first stop on a Utah-Colorado road trip. Making reservations was very easy, they described and know the rooms well over the phone and the website is friendly and has great links to dining, etc. in Park City. We were not expecting as nice a place with the low room rates but it was probably the best surprise of the trip. The Inn seems to be in immaculate condition. There was only one other room booked the Tuesday we checked in. Alphine had us in a nice king room but we moved to a corner queen to get another window and a little more light. She let us look at all the rooms and pick. This is an interesting building with different style windows! Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Great location just a half block to the perfect midway point on Main Street - easy to do a walk up one side and down the other to see the town.

Breakfast was great the next morning, made to order and huge, nice start for our drive to Moab. It was great to visit with Steve, Michel and Jean.

Would recommend this Inn to anyone!
