Stein serves up old world charm at this amazing lodge built halfway up the mountain. We booked a one bedroom suite. A high ceiling living room with leather couches in front of a fireplace. Hot tub on the deck and a full kitchen if you feel like cooking. The restaurant was fabulous. Every morning we fortified ourselves before hitting the slopes with their complimentary breakfast buffet featuring homemade granola and the best bacon ever. Lunch was a bowl of their famous chili. We didn't have dinner but the menu looked good. Their ski concierge service is unparalleled. They actually put your boots on your feet! I didn't touch my skis once. They set them up outside for me to click into and then on my return whooshed them away to my private locker. I was stunned. The spa is gorgeous. You can soak outside in the snow with a view of the mountain or sans suit inside the spa. I booked an Alpine Glow which included sheets of honey for extra moisturizing. The relaxation room has little booths where you can nap after your treatment and I sure did! The staff is wonderful. They really get it...I cannot say enough great things about this lodge. Just go!

This was our first time at The Stein Eriksen Lodge and we loved it! Their entire staff is amazing, great service by everyone. The room accommodations were lovely and comfortable. We loved the hot tub on your deck. Food there was delicious.........The ski locker room was fully staffed to help you carry your skis to the mountain, and help take off your boots at the end of a long day! The spa was amazing, fantastic hot stone massages and a relaxing facial. We can't wait to come back...............SLW

Ski in, ski out; this place is by far the best Park City area! Meals served here are most wonderful with the most amazing staff. Every time we ski at Deer Valley we always make sure to stop here for lunch or brunch (served on Sundays). If you've never been make sure to add this as a MUST DO!!
TIP: be sure to come early for the meals as the wait can be long after 12pm.

We have always visited the Stein on previous stays in Deer Valley, but have never stayed there before. We've enjoyed lunch during a day of skiing, and nothing beats the ski in ski out location. The food was always top notch and remains so. The room we had for our family of four was luxurious and spacious, with plenty of closet and drawer space for everything we brought. The master bath was big with a jacuzzi tub and plenty of counter space. There was a large living room/dining/kitchen with a murphy bed, and we just added a rollaway bed. Plenty of room, not cramped at all. The one drawback to the second full bath (which is key when traveling with my family) was that it had a pedestal sink and nowhere for my kids to put their toiletries, etc. for the week. I would think it would have been smarter to put a different type of sink with a counter in a room configured for more than 2 people. The ski shop, boot room, and ticket sales office all located in one area for great convenience. The staff were all exceptionally helpful-guests were always being told that they are on vacation, and the staff was here to do for them! From getting my kids hot chocolate after a day of skiing, providing sunscreen, and making sure all of our boots were on correctly were part of our daily routine. They also took our ski's and poles and laid them outside-we merely had to step into them, and we were off! Very friendly staff all around the hotel, from waiters, to housekeeping, and concierge as well as drivers and valets. The breakfast each morning was excellent. Apres ski was lively and relaxing at the same time. The hot pretzels were fantastic as recommended by our server!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and will definitely return.
