“4 Stars for Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We stayed 4 nights between Christmas and the New Year. The hotel is a solid value. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and eager to help. The free American Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel is a designated shuttle stop that we used to get to Deer Valley and downtown Park City restaurants. The hot tub and pool are great after a hard day on the slopes.

This is not St. Regis or the Montage but it's nice, quiet and a good value.

Thank you for spending time during the Christmas holiday week with us. We are glad that you found our property and its amenities to be a solid value and we are very much appreciative of your positive comments in that regard on TripAdvisor. We are definitely blessed with a wonderful group of people who have worked here for years and who care about our guests. Thank you again.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peaks Hotel! We were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed peace and quite during our stay. I loved that it was so close to everything we wanted to go see and do. We are definitely coming back here to stay again.

Decor/Rooms
Average to Small sized rooms. The decor is plain and uninviting. The bathroom has an awkward layout as well as a combined bathtub.

Service
The Service is nothing special. All they do is check guests in, but provide no special treatment.

Views
A view of nothing.

Amenities
-Restaurant: The food was pretty bad.
-Pool
-Arcade games in the hallways: Real classy (Sarcasm)

Would not stay here again

I had read some sketchy reviews for the Peaks Hotel but I am glad that I booked the trip there despite the negative reviews. I found a clean well managed property with a nice bar and restaurant on site. The breakfast was delicious and priced below what would be expected at a resort like Park City. The waitstaff were courteous, prompt and efficient. The only thing that would have improved the experience would be the addition of HBO in the room.

I will use this hotel again on future trips to PC.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the third floor away from the bar.

This was our fourth year of staying here and we will again next year. The staff is very nice; the rooms are very clean; an indoor/outdoor heated pool; spa; sauna; restaurant and a bar with excelling views. There is underground parking, so you don't have to face the cold. The restaurants are very good and have good pricing.

Room Tip: The elevator is quite a walk from the opposite hallway; I would request a room closer to the foyer o...

We just spent an entire weekend here for my husband's 40th birthday and it was fantastic! The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The rooms were a bit small, but the beds were comfortable, TVs were flat screen, and the rooms were clean with good quality bedding. For 17 of us to stay in Park City, this was a very good value. The kids loved the heated pools and spas as well.

Room Tip: Definitely worth it to get a suite if you want a refrigerator and a little more room...

Their website makes this place look WAY better than it is. The rooms are literally empty and bare. The staff is loud, rude, and boisterous. The walls are paper thin! Don't even try to get a good nights sleep here. The TVs in each room are from the early 90s, the carpet from decades before that, and the only thing nice is the front desk lobby! They really are cunning... Don't stay here! Ruined our Anniversary! Stay at someplace you know is cheap and good.

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate hearing from our guests and I am sorry the hotel was unable to meet your expectation.

On our website, we try our best to depict the hotel as accurately as we can. We feel that the photos on the website truthfully represent the appearance of our King, Queen and Suite guest rooms.

Regarding the staff, I apologize for your experience. The staff is trained to provide our guests with the best possible service and negative staff behavior issues are not a normal occurrence. Please know I have forwarded your comments to each supervisor.

Lastly, the property is currently undergoing guest room changes and updates. New 40” flat screen televisions are being installed in every guest room starting this week. Additionally, each guest room will be receiving new refrigerators along with other guest room touches that will make the guest experience more enjoyable. Again, thank you for your input and we hope that you will give the Peaks another chance next time you visit Park City.
