“Good Customer Service and Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2008

We stayed at Park City Peaks for a week and i thought it was good value for money. The room sizes are decent and their large double beds are the most comfortable i have ever found in a hotel.

The breakfast caters for everyone although it is a little irritating having to find small change to tip every day (as the americans expect it) rather than just leaving some money at the end of the weeks stay.

The staff were really helpful although some of the younger foreign staff struggled a bit with the UK accent and probably aren't the best to ask advice regarding restaurants etc.

Its a good base for all the main three ski resorts and there is a bus service every 10-20 mins outside the door. You do need the bus to go to Main Street where all the very good restaurants are but its only 10 dollars for a cab which is fine if there's four or more of you and the Main Street bus centre is fully heated if you do want to wait 10 mins for your bus to go back.

The hotel has a sports bar with bar food and the breakfast room turns into a restaurant at night (although some less bright lighting would help to make it a bit more atmospheric). Good value food if you fancy staying in a couple of nights during your stay. The pool, hot tub and sauna were also well used but never really noisy or busy. Definitely appreciated the cookie and hot chocolate room service that comes round every evening at about 5pm and there is also coffee and hot cider available by the fire in reception. Very good touches that make you feel comfortable during the stay.

They had ski storage but it would have been nice to have had ski boot driers and storage too. Just for info, Deer Valley offers the best 'free' services with boot and glove warmers and complimentary overnight ski and boot storage. We did that a couple of nights which made the bus and travel a lot easier. They also have lots of guides on hand to help with ideas for runs.

The resort generally was fantastic and the skiing top notch and I would definitely choose this hotel again.

As always we turned to Trip Advisor when looking for a hotel and weren't disappointed. Park City Utah was booked solid over Christmas break and TripAdvisor was the only place we found the Park City Peaks Hotel listed. We were travelling with our children and found the hotel just perfect for our needs. It was a close and easy drive to the mountain. Complimentary breakfast was good and with daily choices and fast enough for us to make it to ski school on time. The underground parking that kept our car relatively warm and more importantly clean while it snowed for 3 days straight was an unexpected luxury!!! When travelling with kids it's all about the little things that keep them happy. They LOVED the second floor video games (just 2 in the hallway) and the indoor outdoor pool and of course looked forward to the cookie/hot chocolate cart every evening. I loved the laundry, also right on our floor. We also checked out early a.m. before dining room was open and the staff was kind enough to bring my husband and I coffee for the ride to the airport.

Park City Peaks is a decent older property in Park City and represents good value for money.

Positives - decent size rooms, good (inclusive) breakfast, large underground parking lot and helpful and friendly staff.

Negatives - slightly older style decor, need a car / bus to get into Main Street.

A good base to ski Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons. However, if keen to ski one only, then I'd stay closer to it.

I stayed here with my boyfriend over the Holidays and could not have been more pleased with our choice of hotel. When we booked back in August, there were already very few hotel options in Park City for the holiday break. My travel agent suggested the Park City Peaks Hotel as an affordable and convenient option. I was unsure of what I would get but the result was magnificent.

I've been out West many times to various resorts and this was honestly one of my favorite hotels of the bunch. The Peaks is simple, and comfortable. The beds were great and the buffet breakfast in the morning was more than filling and just what you needed to start off a big day of skiing in the 2 feet of fresh powder we received. The staff was accomodating and ample, always 2-3 people behind the desk at all times. And, there's nothing better than a hot apple cider and fresh cookies greeting you when you come in from a cold day on the slopes. A nice dip in the outdoor hottub completed the day before heading off on the free shuttle to town for dinner. What could be better!?

My only complaint was that it was a little warm in the rooms, but we turned off the heat and opened the window and it was wonderfuly comfortable.

All in all, a wonderful stay and a wonderful holiday trip out west. I would recommend this to a friend 5 times over and I'd stay here again in a mili-second.

Kudos to the Park City Peaks!

We stayed here for 5 days of skiing, and it worked out very well.

The room was fine, though the bathroom stayed hot after a shower unless we left the fan running. We ended up turning off our heat, and leaving the window cracked at night, even though it was close to 0 F., but were very comfortable.

The cookies and hot chocolate were fun, but depending on where your room is be prepared to not see the cart until 6:30 or so.

The breakfasts were excellent - choice of waffles or eggs with lots of good stuff every morning, plus the regular buffet stuff. A terrific bargain.

The shuttle buses are very convenient to get to town or the ski areas. though we had a car which came in very handy at night. The underground parking was terrific, as it meant never having to scrape the windshield.

PCPH is a great stay. In the middle of The Canyons and Park City Mountain and not far from Main St. Rooms are big enough for 2 people with gear, any more it will be tight. Pool and Hot tubs are great, sauna too. Bar is fun with lots of tv's and staff is very nice and mostly Euro kids working in USA. Would stay there again no question.

We have a great stay and call it home when we arrive each December! The swimming and jacuzzis are so relaxing and not crowded. The breakfasts are appetizing and have lots of variety; we have not had difficulty with service whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The location is good and the price is great. If one wants on the slopes then one must pay much more for the convenience of ski in/out. We do not mind the public transport and enjoy the sights and people. They also have a good laundry facility, which we take advantage of.
