“Wonderful Find in Park Utah, best Interval trade yet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We have done about 6 or 7 trades with interval and this was the best property yet. It seemed very new. The rooms were large with a hot tub bath in a bedroom with a separate shower bath room. The single lock off room would have even been big enough for 3 people. FREE parking in the garage. There is a shoe park (you'll have to google it) with a walking path right in back. Nice pool and several free activities during the day. Good breakfast, not great but good. We stayed at this place in June, but if you stay in the winter, the lift is right across the street. it was nice visiting in summer as everything was low key. I'd stay here again.

I stayed here last week while traveling for work. My boyfriend stayed with me too, as travel allowed us to stay in Park City on Friday night and go hiking on Saturday. I Tripadvisor everything before I travel, and I have to admit that I was a little wary of the location due to construction. Having never been to Park City before, I used the GPS on my iPhone, and I was brought right to the parking garage. The address is located on Main Street, and there were clearly marked signs on Main Street for the Summit Watch's garage.

The Villa room we stayed in was exceptional: very spacious and well-kept. The decor was nice and the amenities were great. The bed was very comfortable, and I was surprised to not hear any construction on Thursday or Friday.

The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable of the town and attractions, and the hotel was a short walk to restaurants and bars.

Overall, I think this is a great location. Each Marriott brand and hotel is different and has it's own character, and this one definitively met our expectations.

We used a lockout (studio) this time, found it noisy. Could almost participate in neighbors' conversation!
The re-construction of lobby and entrance was definitely a hardship as well as the lack of signage in garages on the part of management to help clients negotiate the blanks. Very difficult layout and slow single elevator (given that you had to go through garage to access higher floors in different sections, see below)
Garage trash containers smelled- and we repeatedly had to transit garage for access to plaza, street and reception.
Other that, bed was comfortable and lodging in great location, right downtown.

Spent last Saturday night at this hotel. No Government discount, no AAA Discount, not able to use Marriott reward points, and we still stayed based on our loyalty. BEWARE, 10:00 AM CHECK OUT!!!!! This is a first. No exceptions aside from a charitable donation! Total letdown, to say the least. Marriotts are our go to when we are in a new or familiar place. We had higher hopes here for the price. The location is prime, right on Main St. Free parking was a great perk. There's construction going on, and a restaurant festival on Main Street the night we were in town. We drove around for quite a while before finding the parking garage. Slow elevator got us to the lobby. Very kind desk clerks. Slow elevator to the third floor, dark, dark hallways, horrrible lighting. The room is very large and nice. The bathroom tile floor was really awful. This may sound picky, but again there is a certain level of expectation for a particular brand and price. Either they used grey grout the color of concrete, or it's just dirty. A cheap attempt at retro, along with cheap white paint and horrible fluorescent lighting circa 1974. The bathroom is the weakpoint of the room by far. The bed was awesome and so are the pillows. Also, no hotel directory in bedroom, strange, do they have a restaurant, room service? It's lacking the full service feel of a Marriott. Housekeeping walked in at 9:00 am, not even a knock on the door. Very strange. We won't be back. Go for an Inn or an independepent accommodation in this cozy town, stay away from this place, unless of course the price is irrestible. In this case it was far from it.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Located right on historic Main St, we had close access to everything. The pool was warm and had three enjoining hot tubs. One was kept at around 104 so we experienced some really nice soaking there. We were warned that the hotel was under construction. We experienced no ill effects in our room. The only inconvenience was that the lobby had to be accessed from the garage as did Main Street itself. Never the less I would highly recommend this hotel.

They charge for EVERYTHING!! That water on the table yeah $2 each... the coffee you smell in the morning starts at $2.50 a cup and goes up depending on the size. No free breakfast! The pillows are FLAT FLAT FLAT!!! The customer service is horrible! I guess if you don't own a timeshare there they don't care to make you want to own one. They claim they let me know about the EXTREMELY LOUD construction that is going on but they did NOT!!! The price that you pay dose NOT match the quality of the room or the service. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

Room Tip: Pick a different place to stay if you work hard for your money and don't care to give it to an o...

As others have stated, the downtown location is super convenient if you are interested in being able to walk to shopping, restaurants and the Egyptian Theater. The 2 bedroom villas are slightly larger than average for the Marriott brand and are well furnished. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. 2/3 rds of the underground parking is owned by a different entity and Marriott guests must park in the limited areas with specific signage. There is no overnight parking for those without a parking pass and guests are only alloted ONE pass the only free parking is 7-8 blocks away. DO NOT park in the condomium parking across the street -- they run a parking scam and you WILL be fined. In fact all of Park City is hyper-aggressive regarding parking violations so be very careful where you park. The construction was still going on and was only noticeable in the middle of the day. The signage in and around the resort is spotty so it will take you a few days to figure out how to get in and out of the resort and navigate the buildings. The pool and rec areas are very small comparitively. If you can deal with these quirks, this is a nice resort and may be much nicer once the construction is finished. Dear Marriott -- buy the freaking parking garage and be done with the gestapo like policies!!
