“A Warm and Romantic Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

On a cool evening in late September, we enjoyed the warm decor and fireplace at the Gliterand. The food is quite good and the service friendly. If you are not staying there, you must navigate a winding road up to their garage, but it is not a difficult drive. We also ate lunch outdoors at the Gliterand. That was quite casual with no particularly great view. All in all, we recommend having dinner there.

“Lovely Christmas eve dinner. Left stuffed, if not a little poorer.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012 via mobile

Great atmosphere. Snow was falling. The menu was fixed for Christmas eve. The food was fantastic. The steak melted in my mouth. The bread was delicious. The price for 2 was pushing $500 with only one $60 battle of Bubbly. However, it was worth it if you can afford it.

“Elegant and Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Every course is delicious and customers are provided with a complementary appetizer. The atmosphere is wonderful: very classy and rustic.

Meal tip: The Caesar Salad is very good

“First class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Saturday evening dinner with our 2 children was absolutely perfect! The fireplace was adorned with Christmas elves and a huge fire was burning when we arrived. Seated next to a beautiful window looking out at all the lit trees was stunning! My kids were catered to as well as joked with to make them feel comfortable in this pristine setting! Dinner was perfect and I mean perfect! The desserts were beautiful and this pastry chef really knows great flavor profiles! We even had a fun golf-cart ride back to our location! I can't wait to return to this gem in Deer Valley! They take care of every little request! Thank you for a really fun, sweet and memorable night out!

“wonderful Sunday brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

On Sunday, January 1, 2012 my daughter and I had brunch at the Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley Glitretind Restaurant. I took the free shuttle from Park City and my daughter skied there from Deer Valley. Giltretind had a warm and welcoming elegant atmosphere; gorgeous views of the Deer Valley Resort runs; impeccable service; and Forbes Four Star dining. We could not even taste all the vast number of buffet items. This Christmas season I plan to have lunch (children's menu) at the Giltretind with my 4-year old granddaughter. She will enjoy the fireplaces, Christmas tree, gingerbread house, and other decorations in the Forbes Five Star hotel.
