“Great variety for all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Obviously skiing is all about the snow, and we happened to arrive as the area got 18". But the slopes are really great for being able to allow all abilities to enjoy skiing as a family. Very well layed out, so as to thin out the crowds. Bottom lifts are high capacity and get the morning crowds dispersed quickly. And the tree skiing is certainly adequate to keep everybody smiling.

“The place to ski in the USA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

Wonderful mountain with all of the services. All resort staff were helpful and very friendly. The ski school for children is top of the line. They actually teach the children to ski unlike other resorts who just babysit/

“World Class Ski and Snowboard resort.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

There are three resort accessed by the Park City municipal bus service. The most centrally located is Park City Mountain Resort. PCMR has several lodges on the mountain. The service is very good at any of the various lodges. The summit house has great views, good food and is right next to the demo center. I especially enjoy this lodge on sunny days. The Mid-Mountain lodge accessed from the top of Bonanza, Pioneer, Motherlode, and Thanes is a good choice on inclimate days. As with all the lodges, even this one can get busy at high noon. The best selection of fodd and other would be at the base at Legacy Lodge area but that can be very crowded and busy. With a family I think the mid mountain lodge or the Snow hut restaurant are best so long as everyone is at least a low level intermediate. An adventuresome beginner could be OK but I probably wouldn't recommend taking a first time 5 year old to those. For skiers that can get down quick and get back on the lift quick the run into town can be interesting for a mid day break (or at the end of the day then take a free bus back to the resort).

PCMR has great terrain for all levels of skiing - beginner to extreme loving expert. It is good for families and has several good terrain parks/half pipes. There are also runs called adventure alleys that the kids absolutely love because they are marked with these crazy looking creature sculptures.

If you have kids check out snowmama's web link on the PCMR website for good tips and ideas.

There are good activities at the main resort center - ice skating, zipline thing, an alpine slide and more. I recommend checking prices before making promises to the kids. This is park city and if you aren't careful things can get expensive.

“Perfect day, friendly people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014 via mobile

We skied on what was one of the busiest days of the season and it never felt cramped or packed. The snow was perfect and the views were beatiful. All of the employees were super helpful and friendly. It's clear that their focus is on skiing and snowboarding rather that real estate, like some of the other resorts around here. Best ski resort I've ever been to.

“Nice ski resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

We were pleased with the ticketing process, lift lines, slopes and friendly staff. The only minor irritation was the lack of on-hill dining capacity. We were there on a fairly average day that was not overcrowded, but we tried to stop for lunch after 1:00 when "rush hour" should be over and still had to wait for a long time to get a place to sit. Otherwise, everything was very nice.
