We stayed at the Westgate last march and just booked another trip for this year. Great amenities and location. our room had a jacuzzi tub and the shower doubled as a steam room which was perfect after a day on the slopes. The food on premises was really good. It is located at the base of the Canyons mountain great riding.

I booked a bedroom suite with the off season price. If I went again, I'd either stick with the studio suite (it was actually much bigger with a more functional layout) or upgrade. Either way, my room was horrible. Bad lay out, but the worst was that I could hear and smell EVERYTHING my neighbors did (watch the princess bride, followed by white Christmas, followed by cooking up what had to be burnt popcorn and a slab of bacon).

The store is lacking, though had a nice selection of drinks and packaged food. I would highly recommend the Edge for dinner, but otherwise head off resort for meals.

The resort has nice discounts for offseason, is right on the Canyons, and has rentals in site, so for that I give it 4 stars.

My second time at the Westgate Park City Resort, and I just love everything about this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is very pleasant and helpful, the rooms perfectly neat, clean, beautifully decorated and supplied, as well as the kitchen. The garage parking can be definitely an issue if you have a big truck, and no food service was available at the resort, even though, it's worth every penny!

I was pleasantly surprised with our visit at Westgate. We upgraded our room from the tiny studio. We did see the tiny studio room and I would not recommend it. Get the next upgrade up and you won't regret it. Loved our room. The shower was amazing. It has steam and two shower heads. The pool was enjoyable also. I found the resort to be clean and looked like they are constantly updating and remodeling. Not a lot of choices for food on-site. No room service available either because it's more of a resort rather than a hotel. Go off-site for food for sure both for price and variety. It was a relaxing place to stay. The staff we encountered were wonderful. We went to hear the timeshare presentation/property review. We felt very comfortable going and being there. They were very welcoming and accommodating. We didn't feel the high sales pressure like most timeshare presentations. We were interested in the deal, but just can't afford it right now. It's 90 minutes but if you talk a lot and ask questions, you could be up to 3 hours. We were okay with staying longer because we thought the information presented and tour was interesting,

Room Tip: Do not book the small studio one bedroom. Upgrade to the next room for more space.

First I want to say that the staff was awesome there. They were very helpful and made sure our stay was perfect!
First I will lay out the minor cons about the resort. The layout was a bit tricky and annoying at times. They did explain that it was built in different phases, but it still was tricky getting around if you weren't paying attention. My only other con was the pool area. The floor was VERY slippery when wet. Made me a little nervous.
The pros! The rooms were beautiful and very clean! The kitchens came fully stocked with pots and dish ware. There was even a dishwasher! The staff cleaned our rooms every day and stacked our towels. The fireplace and view were so exquisite! On Thursdays they offered free cheese and wine in the bar lobby which we enjoyed. They offered shuttles to and from the hotel down to Park City. They had a marketplace and 2 restaurants to eat at. We just loved the place so much! We skied 2 days at Canyons and 1 at Park City and enjoyed the option of being able to do both. I could go on and on about the great things at Westgate, but you have to see and visit for yourself! It was very affordable and I hope to visit again next year!

Room Tip: I recommend upgrading your room to a signature room or villa. They are very spacious!

If you want luxury and people to treat you like family, this is IT! I have nothing but huge thanks to the people here who make this place SOOOO special. The people just couldn't make it any better. They treated my daughter's birthday as a joyous occasion for her.

Pluses: Daily Housekeeping, FREEinternet that works all the time, and quickly, valet for ski services and lockers, free shuttle service, huge tv in the master bedroom, dvd player, washer and dryer in "A" Side, leather couches, WOW good beds, steam shower, 2 great restaurants (Drafts which is a limited menu bar/casual dining) and Edge (fine dining) and on and on....

Minuses: Haven't found any - maybe some rooms have a less than great view. And the "B" side is tiny - 350 sq feet - so get at least the "A" Side which has 650 sq feet.

Meals were fab. People were innovative with suggestions, helped make tough things happen, and made us happy.

Finer details you wouldn't expect - special carvings in trashcans, tissue holders, etc. Water always hot, good pressure, Stainless kitchens with granite, wood look flooring (TILE), granite boulder facade around 2-person hot tub in the master. Mini kitchenette in the "A" side.

Location is slope-side to the Canyons Ski Resort. 3 miles to Park City Mountain Resort, and 6 miles to Deer Valley Ski Resort.

Best trip in a long time - and we take 5 to 6 trips a year!
