“Great location to PCMR!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

This is a Marriott Vacation Club property. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa. It was well equipped with pretty much everything you'd need in a kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace. The bathroom has a stall shower and a separate whirlpool tub. There are two vanities which is convenient for a family. The ski in/out is so convenient and you can valet your skis/poles daily for no fee. The outdoor hot tubs and pool are right on the mountain. Nice gym with cardio equipment and weights. For those traveling with kids there are daily activities planned, a common game room, and a separate room with bean bags, crafts, movies, etc. Heated parking garage is great and for those that don't have a car the Park City bus is a block away and it it picks up every 5 minutes. My only complaint is because this is a vacation club full kitchens are provided and therefore people cook, which I get. It just got a little old smelling bacon, burned popcorn and other overcooked food as you walked through the hallways. This hotel is full of kids so if you're looking for a couple's resort then this isn't the place for you.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor so you have less people above you. Also ask for a room that faces the ski area...

We stayed for 4 nights in early December and had a fantastic time. The one bedroom villas was amazing. It had absolutely everything we could ask for...humidifier, washer/dryer, two tvs, fireplace, DVD player, etc etc.. The kitchen was stocked with everything! The unit was very clean and in perfect working order. Kids club had activities all day/everyday. The pools and jacuzzi were perfect. They even have jacuzzis set to temperatures appropriate for younger kids. They really think of everything. Parking is superb. Overall, You cannot beat the location. Staff was great from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the kids club...awesome. I am sorry we didn't stay longer. We will definitely return again. Thank you Mpuntainside for a great vacation.

I have owned a timeshare here for awhile and love it every year! The ski in ski out on the resort is unbeatable. With great hot tubs apres ski right off the slopes. The villas are spacious and kept up very well. An easy walk to Park City and a fantastic conceirge at the front desk (John is the best and so helpful), The ski valet folks go out of their way to be nice and helpful. If I didn't own, this would be where I would stay. Consistently great and well worth the money.

Room Tip: A view of the slopes is great with a room on a higher floor. Watch out during season for the blower...

Just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Marriott Mountainside. Stayed in one of the hotel rooms and spent lots of time in the 2 bedroom/2 bath timeshare with family. Both were roomy, clean with nice decor. The hotel room included a sofa sleeper, breakfast bar, sink, microwave & refrigerator and even included dishes! They gave us a turkey roasting pan upon check-in!! The customer service was exceptional and friendly. Lots of activities for the family - storytime, arts & crafts, smores, caramel apple making, etc. The pool was spacious and 85 degrees. Walk out back of the resort, and you can instantly ski!! The alpine slide and zipline were working and looked like lots of fun. There are various restaurants within a few steps of the resort. I will definitely stay here again!! We are already talking about making this a family Thanksgiving tradition!

A very superior resort, well located, with a great staff.

We had a two bedroon/2 bath unit. It was well furnished, large, super clean, and well located.

There is little more to say: ths is a clearly superior operation in all respects.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor for a view and (likely) less traffic in the hallways

This is an excellent property and blew away our expectations. Our kids loved "The Mine" which is the kids club on the property. They had a lot of games and activities for them to do everyday which made it hard for them to leave when it was time. The location is great for mountainside activities or the alpine slide. The pool is large and it has 5 hot tubs to choose from. The rooms are large and and very comfortable. The gym is very nice and has a view of the pool and mountains. We would recommend and will be going back.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms buy the main gathering area. They do post signs after 9 p.m. to be quiet.

We exchanged through Interval to a 2 bedroom at MountainSide. We were very pleased with the size of the room and with the kitchen.

The fall colors were almost at peak in town. Very beautiful! We took a 45 minute drive to Mirror Lake. The resort also offered this as a group activity.

The pool was a little too cold for our liking but the 6 hot tubs were great. We very much appreciated the two hot tubs reserved for kids. Being pregnant, I was also able to relax in the hot tub along with my family due to the cooler temperature. We took advantage of the grills by the pool. I believe there were 4. The fire pits were also a great touch.

My only 'issue' was the terrible view from our 5th floor room. There were plenty of rooms with incredible mountain views but we stared at a big hill of dirt and rocks.

We would certainly go back during ski season. It's a true ski-in ski-out resort.
