“Good value, excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

We have stayed here many times when the Road scholar program was here. This time we were on our own. We had a studio in the B building that was large and well nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly, but limited. The lodge is ski in, ski out, which is a terrific convenience. The only problem we encounterd was limited maid service and we had to ask for a decent coffeee pot and never did get a tea kettle. It may not seem important but boiling water in a pot does not work well. Still, we liked being there.

Room Tip: Studios in building b are the best value.

Just came back from a 4 night stay in room 206A. I believe it is independently owned, we rented through VRBO. The location was prime for getting on the mountain. Really could not be easier. Our unit was a two bedroom that we stayed in with another couple and our two teenage boys who slept on the pullout. It was decorated nice enough(and I'm pretty picky) and it had 3 bathrooms which was great. We saw a jacuzzi down the hall from us which was not too appealing. We did not use it. My son had mentioned there was a nicer area with another jacuzzi and steam room etc. that he had walked to. I used the laundry facilities and that was great. Overall I would say it looked a bit run down in the hallways but we had an absolute blast on the mountain and loved the convenience of the location of the Lodge. There really are no great restaurants there so we went into the town of Park City at night which was great. We ate at Legends our first night which is in the same area as the Lodge but it was very mediocre. If you're looking for real luxury this is not the place but if you are there with family to ski it was great. I would go back.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms may be different. As I said ours is privately owned so if possible I would try...

We really wanted to live this place because the location is so fantastic BUT the elevators were broken the ENTIRE time we were there including check in and check out times! Other than the rooms are ok but old and dark Jacuzzi didn't work and washer didn'r work properly so clothes was swimming in water an end of cycle Very disappointing!

Thank you for your response, All Seasons Resort Lodging is a primary property management company for the Lodge at the Mountain Village. All Seasons Resort Lodging does not manage all the privately owned condominiums at the Lodge. This unit may have been outside the ASRL rental pool.

ASRL will be more than happy to pass on this information the the Lodge at the Mountain Village Home Owners Assoc.

Thank you,

Perhaps it was just my luck, but the room was tiny, with an 80's decor and paper-thin walls. Even the hot tub and ski-storage space were small, cramped, and claustrophobic. It felt depressing, particularly after the nice SLC and Deer Valley accommodations. And the price, you ask? $430 per night, after fees and taxes. Sure, the location can't be beat, but for that money I should have stayed at Grand America in SLC and rented a car.

Thank you for your comments. All Seasons is a primary property management company for the Lodge at the Mountain Village. I cannot confirm that this reservation was with All Seasons Resort Lodging. ASRL, does offer competitive rates within the market.

Though a bit worn and thin walls, it is the location at a reasonable price that makes this condo hotel a winner. You are steps from the Pay Day lift and the shops at the base of the Park City Mountain Resort. And the buses are slso just a few feet away to take you to Main Street. This is worth considering.

I have to say that I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews on trip adviser, but was really happy when we arrived. We had a standard 2 bdrm/2 bth condo, and it was great! It was furnished nicely, and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and clean. It had 2 flat screen TV's comfortable beds, and a view of the slopes and ice skating rink. If you know what door to walk out of, it is ski on ski off. We stayed for 5 days, and skied till we dropped. The Legacy has a decent lunch, and Zoom is good for dinner on Main Street. The lodge is really nice, and I hope we go back one day. If you want 5 stars, go to Deer Valley, and pay 10 times the price.

Room Tip: We were in room 253

Perfect location for ski in/ski out at Park City. Friendly and helpful staff, covered parking is great. Some units are more updated than others, so you take your chances on accommodations. Our unit was one of the nicer ones, and my only complaint is that that our condo was too warm and no way to turn down the heat except by opening a window.
