“This is a great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2009

The service was excellent. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and polite, exceptionally so. The room was perfect! They had everything we asked for ready for us. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large with a modern television and the room was spotless! The bathroom was large, modern and had great towels. (The shower head was perfect.) They also furnished very nice toiletries. My husband and I would definetly stay here again, I would tell my best friends to stay here. The swimming pool was great. We had dessert in the restaurant and it was delicious. The area is very scenic and much nicer to stay in than Salt Lake, it is worth a stay. This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our 10 day trip.

Just returned from a 10 night stay on the concierge level at Park City Marriott for our annual ski trip to the USA.
We chose the Marriott for name and value for money compared to other hotels which were a similar distance from the slopes.
Having stayed ski in/ ski out last year, we hoped to do the same but the cost of slopeside accomodation in Park City is pretty steep so we compromised and were not disappointed.
Our spacious room had 2 extremely comfortable queen beds and plenty of space for all the gear, although drawer space is lacking when there are 4 of you in the room. Large flat screen TV, armchair and table and work desk, wardrobe, vanity sink unit and seperate bathroom. We had an inside facing room, overlooking the poolside area. This was fine, the only downside being you had no idea what the weather was like outside until you left the hotel and you couldn't open the window for fresh air as your room then smelled like the swimming pool. This was really the only downside and it was not that bad.
The swimming pool area and fitness room were very well kept and kept the kids amused most evenings for a few hours. Jacuzzi was quite busy and FAR too hot. Pool towels etc supplied which was also good.
The conierge lounge was worth the extra $50 per night. Unlimited supply of soft drinks, tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc and a substantial breakfast supplied every morning, with canapes and sweets available between 5.30pm and 9.30pm every evening. Liquor Licensing laws in Utah are pretty strict and the concierge lounge does not allow anyone under 21 access after 5.30pm which we were not advised about when we booked so kids could not go in at night.
One of the best things about the hotel, which again we were unaware of when we booked was the bell boy/ski concierge service and private bus transfers to the slopes. When we arrived, our ski's were taken into storage and you are given a tag for them, in the morning, you went to the desk, gave the bell boy your tag and were given a ticket and told when the next bus left (usually no more than 15 minutes). Your ski's were then loaded onto the bus for you and handed to you when you got off at either Park City Resort or Deer Valley - only public transport available to take you to The Canyons, which is also directly outside the hotel. The bus then returned to the resorts with a regular return service between 3.30pm and 5pm every afternoon. You gave your ski's to the driver, were given a tag then did not see them again until the next morning when you were dropped off at the slopes! EXCELLENT. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too.
We used the hertz desk in the hotel to drop off a hire car which was also simple enough. There is an outside and underground car park available (necessary when you have 2 feet of snow overnight)
We used room service serveral times and ate in the restaurant, both which provided excellent service, good food at a reasonable price. We did not use the bar as we had the kids with us and they could not go in there.
All in all, excellent hotel, with excellent service and friendly, helpful staff.

My daughter and I went to Park City for a girls birthday get-a-way. We stayed at the Marriott for the name, we'll be back for the service. Great location, just outside the Main Street and slope side crowds but within minutes to either on the free city bus which stopped right outside the door. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The check in was cheerfully performed with a smile by a young woman named Yesi. She told us where to find things around the hotel and suggested dinner in the hotel restaurant. We spent the afternoon on Main Street finishing up with massages at Mountain Body Spa. Well worth the price and very relaxing. Back at the hotel we opted for room service. Bryce at the Park City Grill (the hotel restaurant) recommended the Filet Mignon which was outstanding and delivered quickly to our room. We also had a pasta dish with spicy sausage and onions, again very good. We had a spacious room with 2 queen size beds, large vanity area and standard bathroom. It overlooked the indoor pool atrium. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, a large screen TV, a good night's sleep - we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good the next morning. They have a buffet with omlets, waffles, fresh fruit and homemade granola which was one of the best I've ever had. The broken yolk sandwich was also excellent. Nora delivered coffee quickly and cheerfully, brought us our food and then more coffee and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll definately be back. It's great for a quick get away or an extended vacation and the staff are top notch.

I stayed here for 4 nights on a ski trip last month. The rooms have been renovated and are standard Marriott with comfy beds and plenty of storage space for ski gear. The hotel bar is nice and spacious. The breakfast is nothing to brag about but value for money. There is a nice kidney shaped pool and hot tub area in the center of the hotel. Some of the rooms are below the main floor and face the street but are soundproofed. There is an on-site ski shop with storage. The bus to all the area bases is just outside the shop by a side entrance. The afternoon hospitality cart is a nice feature with a porter serving wine, beer, or soft drinks and snacks from room to room.

The staff goes WAY out of their way to make you feel at home along with a centralized location makes this a great hotel.

The average size hotel rooms have recently been updated using Marriott’s current design schemes. Bedroom was clean, beds really comfortable; bathroom- (two sinks) was clean and free of mold. Rooms were fresh without excessive use of deodorizers. Coin operated washer and dryer on every floor.

Some things to note: Starbuck’s located in lobby opened late every morning we were there. Sometimes you can hear footsteps from the floor above you. Concierge lounge food was average, under age kids not allowed in lounge after 5pm daily.

I'd return without reservation. ttz

Overall this hotel exceeded expectations, mostly because its staff went above and beyond to provide ammentities to the guests. After a long day of skiing, it was nice to come home to hot rum cider and free massages in the lobby! Later in the evening we were pleasantly surprised when a porter knocked on our door offering free beverages (soda, wine, beer). Also, they offered complimentary ski storage. It is located approx. 10 min from Park City and Deer Valley. The hotel operates a free shuttle to and from the mountains during the day which runs about every 15 minutes (reccomend picking up a ticket from the lobby about 20 min. before you want to board). They were good about sending overflow vans to pickup additional people at the end of the day. The hotel restaurant was good for breakfast. A full-service business center offering free wireless was available. Most importantly, all the staff were super helpful and friendly!!!
Only downside of our trip was the overflow of children in the hot tub and steam room. I understand that we visited during a school vacation week, but I don't understand why parents would let their kids run, scream, splash, etc. in a hot tub full of people. Personally, I think saunas and jacuzzis should be off-limit to those under 18.

The hotel staff was very courteous and nice throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and furnished with nice large flat screen LCD TVs and mini refrigerators. We stayed on the concierge level where they had a nice lounge and served breakfast in the morning and snacks, beverages, hot coffee/tea, and desserts in the evenings which was very convenient. We thought the location was great for us since the hotel is centrally located as we wanted to ski at all the resorts (Deer Valley, Park City and the Canyons) and explore the area. The hotel has lots of amenities that made the trip much more enjoyable. There is a ski shop in the hotel lobby where we rented skis which was very convenient. The gift shop in the lobby also sold lift tickets so we didn't have to wait on line. We also enjoyed jumping into the hot jacuzzi and swimming pool after a full day of skiing. They also have an indoor parking garage, fitness center and internet access. What we liked best was this hotel had lots of amenities to offer and it was less expensive than other places in town. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was over done and dry.
