“Comfortable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2012

We stayed at the Marriott during a recent trip to go skiing for a few days. The location of the hotel was close enough to the Main Street area, and there were several restaurant options nearby. It was also very convenient that there were shuttles to different ski areas, and a couple of the public transportation routes had a stop immediately outside the hotel. We had a rental car, so we only used the shuttles a couple of times, but I can see how they would be very useful for some groups -- especially if different members of the group were going to different places during the same time frame.

The staff was very friendly, and we had good service. We had access to the concierge lounge, which was very convenient, though the food seemed pretty generic, and options seemed limited at times other than breakfast.

Parking can be a little tight out front (especially as we were there as the hotel was gearing up for the Sundance Festival) if you're planning on having a car. As far as the hotel itself, the rooms and facilities were nice enough, though it did show some wear and the rooms and hallways were fairly generic. It definitely does not have a "lodge" feel, so this may not be the place for you if that's what you're looking for. It was, however, a good place to rest at the end of the day.

Overall, we had a good stay and would consider staying there again in the future.

We stayed there for a sky trip in December 2011; and I was not impressed at all. The ski lift near the hotel was never running (probably die to insufficient snow), so you have to carry the skies and walk (up and down the bridge) to the shuttle stop. Most rooms have no view, but the rooms were decorated with expensive furniture. The room we got when first checked in was facing a noisy road (can be heard clearly from the inside) and an ugly hill. So I had to request a room change. On the fourth day of our vacation we shortened our stay at Marriott and moved to a two-br villa in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Alta Ski Resort (highly recommend), which was $440, $80 less than the 1-br villa at Marriott. We thoroughly enjoy our stay there.

Room Tip: Request for a view room if you don't want to face a noisy road or another building that's 20...

I have stayed at many hotels around the world (approx 30 trips per year). This visit to this hotel really impressed me. The service felt like a 5 star hotel in many ways. We were greated with hot apple cider at the door, staff helped load and unload our skis to the shuttle, the front desk and conceirge were very helpful. Jenny at the front desk as absolutley super! I would definately stay here again!

We stayed at the marriott january 12th and 13th 2012. The room was fine the service was good. They go out of their way to help you. There was a safe and a refrigerator in the room. Internet access cost 10 dollars per day. If you have a droid you can use that. Apple phones don't seem to work as well. We use verizon. Shuttle to park city mountain leaves from 8 am to 10 am mountain opens at 9 am. They pick you up between 3 pm and 5 pm the mountain closes at 4 pm. Since you're about 10 minutes from the mountains it's better to drive. Day lockers are 7 dollars per day and you can open and close the locker all day. You need to get a ticket 1 half hour before you want to leave if you want to use the shuttle in the morning. This is not a good year for snow but we still had a good time. The lift lines were non existent or maybe a 5 minute wait. If you want to eat in park city the best thing to do is get the local newspaper. Our shuttle driver says they have a lot of 2 for 1 coupons in the newspaper.

After 10 years of trying different hotels and condos I finally tried th the Park City Marriott. For my family, this place has it all. Great location, with hotel shuttle or city bus to all three ski resorts and downtown. Wonderful staff who strive to make requests happen. Amenities like on site ski shop and covered parking. I have found my home away from home in Park City!

I was great being pampered. All of the team was great; checkin, baggage, concierge, the shops, and the hot cider and cookies when coming back from skiing. This was the first ski trip that my fiancee and I have taken together and the entire Marriott team made it very special. We will definately come back. Thanks!

Room Tip: A little noisy on the street side from the busses

My wife and I recently stayed at the Park Ciry Marriott over New Years. The staff was impressive the moment we arrived by helping with luggge, check-in, and general intro to the hotel. Parking was also readily available, which is important during the peak travel season. The staff continued to impress with their willingness to help us arrange activites, transportation, and last but not least a perfect recommendation for a New Years party masquerade party.

The hotel does have a executive lounge with a good breakfast before hitting the slopes and a decent workout facility if you want to get a run or basic lifting in.

We will definitely turn to the Park City Marriott in the future.
