Description: The St. Regis Bar offers a light menu created by Jean-Georges Culinary Concepts and a variety of specialty cocktails. Honoring a long-standing tradition, each St. Regis hotel creates its own signature Bloody Mary—a variation on the original recipe dating back to 1934 in New York. At The St. Regis Deer Valley, 7452 Mary (a nod to the resort's altitude) is an enticing blend of fine oat-distilled Vodka 7000 from local High West Distillery and a regional salt rim garnished with a Wasabi-Celery foam. Also paying homage to St. Regis tradition, the bar is graced with a commissioned mural. The St. Regis Deer Valley Bar features a triptych reflecting Park City’s history as a silver mining town by artist Phillip Buller.

“The BEST.......A MUST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

I have been going to the St Regis Bar all winter and I must say they get it right every time! Johnathan McCauley knows what service is all about. HIs staff never fails to smile and are so polite. The black truffle pizza is AMAZING and the steamed shrimp salad is an all time favorite. If you come to Deer Valley and don't make time to visit.........missed opportunity.

“The Best Experience Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

This restaurant and bar is the best and most inviting place that I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Jonathan McAuley, the Manager, is the most professional and gracious host . Even though the place was slammed, he took the time to personally welcome and visit with the guests. What a tremendous host! Try the truffle pizza and one of the Fabulous Bloody Mary's. You won't be disappointed.

“After 3 years, still the same”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Have stopped by this place since it opened hoping they have improved their service on the outside patio but, unfortunately, they still haven't gotten it right. It is the most beautiful location and so inviting however, you must ski in with your patience in tact. Once you sit down, it takes a good 5 minutes to be noticed, then another 5 or so to get some water, menus etc. Now, if the place had been full, understandable, but at the time, it was about 3/4's full and it's not a massive area. I can't even go into ALL that went wrong but let me just say, the outdoor menu is limited...sparse is a better word. The service is just plain BAD. If you don't mind after 15 to 20 minutes getting up to get your own drinks in the inside bar AFTER you had already ordered them, then you will be just fine. The view is really worth the irritation actually. So...go....just try and relax!

“Nice lunch on our first ever trip to Deer Valley”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Since this past Sunday was our first ever trip to Deer Valley, we decided to go for the full experience. Took the short trip up the funicular (fun, with nice views!) and decided to have lunch at the St. Regis Bar instead of J&G. At lunch time, the bar was relatively uncrowded, although there were no tables by the windows available. Had a seat on the long common table behind the bar seats. Service was attentive but not pushy, waiter made some excellent recommendations on food and drinks.

My husband ordered their famous Bloody Mary, and I had the Ginger Margarita. Yes, the drinks are expensive, NYC priced ($15 for an average-sized drink) but I can honestly say it was the best Margarita I have ever had and I would have ordered another were it not for the price. My husband said the Bloody Mary was an experience. Salty, spicy, delicious.

For lunch I ordered the turkey chili and black truffle pizza (pizza is personal sized, 4 slices. Good split appetizer size). The chili wasn't chili so much as soup with some beans and A LOT of turkey meat, served with sour cream on the side. Although it wasn't chili in the classical sense, it was excellent, except for the wishbone segment I had to pull out of the bowl. At least that shows it was fresh off the turkey breast! The black truffle pizza was AMAZING, highly recommend. The bend of black truffle and fontina cheese is excellent. My husband ordered the cod sandwich, which was a little too strong in the fishy tasting department for me. Yes, I know it was fish, but usually cod is mild.

The atmosphere was informal and friendly, but still classy. Had a great time conversing with the other people who had chosen to sit at the common table. Nice big screen TV had on the OSU game, so I was happy with that :)

Now, for the price. It was definitely more than I would usually want to pay for lunch (very close to $100 including tip) but for a one-time experience it fits right in to a special Deer Valley trip.

Pros: delicious cocktails, quality bar food, nice ambience
Cons: price, we did not get our bowl of complimentary popcorn for some reason, portions were a little small for the price on both food and drink

“Great location, nice food. Good drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

You can ski here or you can ride the funacular or you can drive. So many choices! If you ski in, be sure to remember that if the temps are high the ski down to a lift will be slushy (just a warning).

Good location, lovely to sit on the mountain without skiing. Nice views. Funacular is interesting, cool for kids.

We ate the burgers and they were fantastic. We tried several of their signature cocktails and they were very nice.

Nice place to have lunch.
