The Egyptian Theater is located in the historic downtown of Park City, UT. It is on the main street. During the year, there are a number of plays and comedy acts that perform there. During the Sundance Film Festival, it is one of the choice locations to feature films. The theater is small (my estimate is there are about 400 seats). The seats are a little dated. So, if you are planning on attending an event .... get the ticket(s) quickly especially if you think others will attend.
While the outside of the theater is unremarkable, the inside has great photos of artists that have attended the theater. The floor is granite and there is an "Egyptian" theme.
As for parking, there is no theater parking. You will need to park in one of several public garages located in the north end of the historic town. That said, these garages are no more than 10 minutes walking distance from the theater--assuming no snow or ice on the ground. As for restaurants--pre- pr post-performance-- there are plenty of them in town as well as boutique type shops (artsy stuff like pottery, paintings, photography, and fur shops).
